@@crystald3346 I heard that line, but that is what is socially expected from a mother. What was more telling was what she didn't say. I can only hope I'm way off base here, for that guy's sake. No that's literally how insurance works, generally. Whatever insurance plan you buy makes you pay money every month regardless of your personal health status because they use all the money they collect to pay for anyone on the plan who is sick + pay people. This is how every insurance plan works. It's nothing new or groundbreaking.
@@franksmith8210 Do u understand the profound dumbness of your argument? Do u know that almost all rich countries and even third world countries have universal healthcare because it's a fucking human right. A government has to insure that the people who can't afford extortion by ur big pharma don't die on the streets. If ur tax is getting used in making public hospitals or providing healthcare then that's for the upliftment of your country and your people. Just like building decent schools, trains, highways etc .
@@franksmith8210 Nah, bud. It's still you. If you, or anyone else chooses not to pay into any insurance plan, and winds up in a hospital, we all still pay the bill one way or another. That's ok, though, because some of us recognize that we're in a society. It's not your choice whether or not to put money into general well-being, but it is your choice whether not to be an asshat.
