I am planning to get this plant for my house because there's somehow a lot of flies here. In the vidoe, did you feed them the fly or they natually come over to it?
I don't see why someone abstaining from eating meat and animal products would think of this any different from someone that does eat meat or animal products. I'm personally vegetarian, so not quite vegan, but uhm... those plants are quite pretty, those are my thoughts. Keep in mind, people are vegan, vegetarian, pescetarian etc for various reasons. There are a lot of people that for some reason, presumably because they feel threatened or something, misrepresent these diets in pretty dishonest ways and like to paint them as screeching and raving fanatics that militantly want to eradicate the practice of eating meat from the world... we don't, at least i've never met another vegetarian or vegan that was militant about it, and I met quite a few... some don't eat it because they don't like the taste or texture, some don't like the ethical implications and don't want to support it, some just don't for health reasons. Red meat is known to cause a lot of health issues as an example. Do I want to convince you to not eat it? No. Frankly, I couldn't care less about what you or plants eat. Nature exists. Animals (humans included) and plants eat each other. That's life.
Their... excuse? Huh? I'm not vegan, but I'm pretty sure they 1. Don't eat carnivorous plants like this (if only because it's generally unusual to do so) and 2. Don't claim to care about what random plants and animals do in the wild.
Music is fine. The sound effects are a weird choice though.
amazing music! must be hans zimmer? super cute plants when tiny. wonderful timelapse, waaaw
Lmao who added the sound effects 😂
I was like wtf 😂
It would’ve been funny if it was like ahhhhhh..like taking a big sip of soda
Hey man that's not nice
It's such a nice video but the SFX make it cringe.
I should put some of those in my next build 😮 great timelapse, cheers from SmallScaleTales
I love your channel so much, thanks for making the world a bit more positive!
great timelapses :)
I need some for my kitchen!
That was awesome. Good job!
They are so cute when they are tiny, I have one growing with some trumpet pitchers. Definitely does not get as good a feed as yours does!
The image quality is very good, I wonder what brand model camera you are using.
We're using Canon DSLR
May I ask how often you wartered these sundews for the first 20 days as I have just planted some and don’t know how long I should wait before watering
We filled water in the terrarium about 1/3 of the pot's height and sprayed water about twice a week.
@@eLapseTime did you keep it constantly moist in the terrarium or not thanks
@@gw-4703 Yes, the terrarium's bottom always has some water.
@@eLapseTime thanks for the information
Such small seeds! 😳

A 9w GE grow light
@@eLapseTime can a full spectrum 220v violet light 7w grow a drosera?
We haven't tried a violet one, but it should work.
@@eLapseTime a 7w can??
@@TheUltimateLevelingGuy Yes if it's a LED one
the audio adds nothing, in my opinion. it takes away the realism and fascination.
Great vides, amazing work
Amazing audio. If you listen closely you can hear the plant sucking the juice out of the insect.
what is the name of the glass?
Terrarium
@@eLapseTime oh tysm
@@eLapseTimeVocê usou um terrário como vaso?🌱🍂
Would you mind to translate to English?
@@eLapseTimehe says “did you use terrarium as a vase?”

Man mother nature is cruel sometimes. It took that fly over a day to die...
sounds off, is better
