My favorite compliment I ever heard someone tell me is my childhood friend as we are adults told me one time that he goes “I like you cause you never made me feel poor.” We both grew up very differently but I told him I was insanely jealous of the fun stuff he had at his house.
Conan's bad investments is one of my favorite gags. This was a great interview. Success can be isolating. Lizzy seems to have found a good group to surround herself with.

Oh wow, how these certain people treat you both is one of many faces of narcissism. People who feel the need to tax you are really expressing how threatened they feel by you just being you lol. It has everything to do with a hurt ego tied to not tending to ones own self and nothing to do with you. They inadvertently do this with everyone who has something they wish they had. That could include putting you down in their head or doing so to your face The root/the heart of feeling threatened is true admiration. Normally, in the presence of someone who has done something amazing for themselves, people express how proud they are of you. They’ve usually reflected on how many thousands of steps the person before them had to take in order to get to where they are today and end up feeling inspired- not threatened 😊

Anyway, now need to go back to see what's up because clearly I was sleeping on someone amazing. And also like someone you'd want to know irl. Not put on.

Loved this series with lizzy. I understand her point about being treated differently because they are famous. I have some close friends who are famous and our relationship is no different than my friend that works at the airport. However there is one distinct difference regular people don’t have dinners and hand out awards for doing a good job. I appreciate that most actors are regular people and want to be treated that way, but its self inflicted by the indusrty
I don't know. Companies hand out all sorts of awards to their employees on a regular basis, the difference being it's not being broadcasted on network TV and nobody knows who anybody is. I think it's mostly the "recognition" part that has people all wanting to tax celebrities. Bottom line, if you are a celebrity, people are mildly offended that they know a lot about you but you don't know anything about them.
As a nationally elite car sales professional... I can tell you that everyone has an opinion! Try job title "Car Salesman" then you'll know that everyone shares their opinion!
