I had a 7yr relationship go that way too, she couldn't live her own life, and needed to live threw her mom's opinions. My 29yr. marriage started that way too. Her father didn't like me, and my Mother didn't like my wife. In order for it to work, you both have to be together , and families come second. I guess Eden can't do that, what a shame. Wow this may be true, as he did the baby gift opening last night on live by himself. Man this is sad but I'm praying for them. Of this is true, Eden needs to step up to her family and realize that Cam became number one when she said I do. God forbid, but if something were to happen whereas Eden needed medical attention, they will not be asking for the mother/father, the first question will be where is the spouse.

My kids father family tried so hard to get him to leave me and he has a couple of times. All I did was try to love him and treat him right but he didn't do the same for me. He would talk bad about me to his family when ever he didn't get his way all the time. Now that he is in prison and its over he wants to apologize and think we will be a happy family someday. Too late for that. I'm moving on.

If this is about family then perhaps you are better off being a dad apart from your union if she is a fully grown adult, with a husband, who isnt mature enough or emotionally intelligent enough to stand on her own two feet. Wow sorry to hear that you and Eden are going through this Cam. When my wife and I first got married my mom didn't like her and tried to interfere. I had to have a hard conversation with my mom about disrespecting my wife and since then they have a wonderful relationship. Cam you can do all you can to be the best husband but it's up to Eden to have the conversation with her parents. Dang I hate to see you guys go through this. Cameron, unfortunately it seems as though Eden has gotten really comfortable with leaving being that this is not the first time it has happened. I think her family is being very selfish by getting in her ear and not caring about what you are going through beingbthat this is your first child. If the family was looking out for her best interest, they would tell her to stay and fight for her marriage.
