With the top ventilation ducts being broken in 2009 in Bathurst and replaced in 2011 for the 6hrs of Silverstone along with the addition of the chequered flags.

Hell, I'd love to see you hook up with ole Cleeter, do some of the stranger motersports they have out there.. jet boat racing maybe? They look super fun.

I can't believe you've never encountered arm restraints. I would have thought they are required in formula cars.

Would you like to borrow a proper Caterham? 300bhpN/A 6sp H pattern box, My car, and then have a go, nice copy of the Cat, MK also do one, but just not as agile as a Cat, or as light, especially mine 😊
I'm more than happy to give it to you for the day 👍

Ben didn't know about arm restraints? I've 👀 seen those decades ago. Most 🇺🇸 dragstrips wouldn't bug you about those stupid arm restraints.

I hope everybody already knows this, but the term 'Great Britain' is often used as an ironic pun. In its purely geographical sense the 'great' refers to the fact that the largest of the British Isles is the biggest or 'greatest' island in extent; it's got nothing to do with the natives bragging about the country being especially marvellous.
So... it's 'great' in the sense of 'largest' - like the 'Great Lakes': quantity, not quality.
On the other hand, the use of the word 'great' in its quality - not quantity - sense, is a deliciously annoying way of upsetting our North American cousins - not so much the amiable Canadians, but those uppity USA-liens who resent the notion that saying 'Great Britain' implies praise, which goes against their deep-rooted belief that all-things un-Merkin must be inferior.
Returning to the Great Lakes example, that raises a further complication: is Lake Superior really all it's cracked up to be?🤔
