Given the clothes (I know this comment is coming way late btw) I assume this is meant to represent France aristocracy in the late 1700s and maybe they are the Jacobins or the revolution its self. Either way it showcases what is often used as a more mild sounding background instrument can do when put to its full potential.
Their bows coming apart is linked to the term 'to shred' meaning to play HARD. It was first used for fiddle players who used steel strings that would 'shred' their bows when they played heavy. (Violin players used 'gut' strings that were easier on the bows.)
DUDE FOR ONE MORE THUNDERSTRUCK check out Steven sea gulls thunderstruck Man these dudes are playing You just got to see it literally playing a wrench on an anvil one's playing spoons but it's so fire man it's really good
FINALLY FINALLY I HAVE ASKED YOU TO WATCH MY GUYS NOW CHECK OUT THE SWEET CHILD OF MIND AND LIVING ON A PRAYER I LOVE THEM THEY ARE TALENTED AND YOU ARE IN MY GOOD GRACES BECAUSE OF THIS YOU ROCK😍🤙
One guy in the band is from my country, Slovenia, and the other is from neighboring Croatia (it is next to Italy). Elton John noticed their first video and invited them to participate. They worked together for quite some time, but then they had to go their separate ways. A period of world tours followed, they were invited everywhere. You should see how crazy their concerts are!
2 Cellos does a LOT of other modern music. I KNOW that you will love watching and reacting to them. For fun, check out “2 CELLOS - Pirates Of The Caribbean.” 👍
I was laughing watching the audience and the faster the guys played their cellos, the faster some of the ladies waved their fans! The guys use a "bow" to play and that's what you see the strings being frayed on.
Cello is a smaller than the Standing Bass (aka “double bass”) , and also is tuned in 5ths (bass is tuned in 4ths). Cello has a higher and wider range of notes that can be played. Cello is like a tenor voice with ability to cross into a baritone range, whereas a standing double-bass is like a bass voice with a bit of low-baritone ability.
Great reaction. I love how classical musicians are talking contemporary music and doing them like this. There's another band that does this. Apocalyptica. They do a lot of Metallica and Sepultura songs. The fact that this kind of thing is happening in this day and age always makes me wonder if someone who does this stuff went back in time to 16th and 17th centuries and played like Master of Puppets on cello, they would probably love it. It would sound different to them for sure but I still think they would love it because music is universal and can break down any language or cultural barrier. Keep em coming Shon. You are awesome, dude. I hope you do an Apocalyptica song next. No one else seems to want to notice them even though they are amazing.
For a more serious take on "Cello Metal", check out the band Apocalyptica. They bring on amazing guest vocalists and have not only some great covers, but also originals like "I'm Not Jesus" with Corey Taylor of Slipknot, "I Don't Care" with Adam Grontier from Three Days Grace, "Not Strong Enough" with Brent Smith from Shinedown, and even one with Till Lindeman of Rammstein.
These guys are the BEST!! THEY DO MJ COVERS AND LOTS OF OTHER DIFFERENT ARTIST COVERS. I FOLLOW THEM ON EVERY PLATFORM. SMOOTH CRIMINAL CHECK THAT ONE OUT BY THEM..
These guys are super talented and just as crazy and animated live. They are not just world class musicians, but definitely showmen as well. Have you reacted to ELO yet? You definitely need to if not. The merging of classical a d rock was something these guys probably picked up from ELO. It isn't done often, but when it's done right, its spectacular. Btw, cellos have a very deep sound that can definitely be considered "bass" so I'm not surprised you were feeling it. As long as we are on the subject of killer bass, can you please react to Duran Duran, Rio, official video. Thanks!
*"DOLLI AND THE LUXE - ROCK VRS OPERA - 1984.VOB"* Female Pop Duo (*Dollie De Luxe*) from Norway debut North America Expo '86 Vancouver BC Canada (16-year-old childhood friends) Benedicte Adrian and Ingrid Bjørnov - *Queen of the Night / Satisfaction*
Look at the kids in the crowd! Its doable, but some base are small added, but stings and feeling and a liitle care may do some more like now that or why then and before now after. All reactions makes me glad.
Hey Shon, here's another artist to give a listen, if interested. I believe you've reacted to one or two of his songs before and seemed to enjoy his stuff. "2021 CCMA Awards - Chris Stapleton - You Should Probably Leave" (by the channel: CCMA Official) --This song is from his fourth studio album called "Starting Over" the song was co-written by Ashley Gorley, Chris DeBois, and Stapleton himself, and another fan favorite.
You should check out Apocalyptica. They do songs with Corey Taylor from Slipknot, Adam…..I forgot his last name from 3 Days Grace and other various kick ass songs!
If you liked this, you should check out The BadPiper doing this song and Apocalyptica, a cello quartet from Finland who do Metallica covers. 🤘Rock on, Kelly 🤘
Tomatoes, at the time, were considered poisonous. At that time, they used pewter dinnerware, which I think contains lead. The acid from the tomatoes would mix with chemicals in the pewter, and poison people. Not knowing any better, they blamed the tomatoes, and labeled them poisonous. So the whole is a tomato a fruit or a vegetable thing was actually solved then. Tomatoes are actually considered a nightshade. A category we don't use anymore, since we've learned.
**applause** You don't know how many reactors I've seen that had no clue what the set up was for this video! You are rocking with your history there!

2Cellos is amazing! Please see their version of The Trooper. It is EPIC!!
I think of the physical stamina required to do this cover. I mean, I caught myself holding my breath in sheer amazement! Thank you. What a treat.

Doomhunter- Many Thanks! Preeeesh the info. All this time hearing that verb shred and now to know - freakin light bulb! Keep Rockin’
In another piece, “ffff” with the player advice “so hard that your string breaks”. This was just “fff”. 😂
Their version of Seven Nation Army is also killer! Ooh, and their Whole Lotta Love + Beethoven's 5th is absolute FIRE!!
Literally just had Whole Lotta Love + 5th on in my 3rd grade classroom yesterday morning. The kids loved it!
DUDE FOR ONE MORE THUNDERSTRUCK check out Steven sea gulls thunderstruck Man these dudes are playing You just got to see it literally playing a wrench on an anvil one's playing spoons but it's so fire man it's really good
Also their version of November Rain
I would second this request.
Yes! I agree with you both!
“That would be insane.” Yes. Yes it will be.
FINALLY FINALLY I HAVE ASKED YOU TO WATCH MY GUYS NOW CHECK OUT THE SWEET CHILD OF MIND AND LIVING ON A PRAYER I LOVE THEM THEY ARE TALENTED AND YOU ARE IN MY GOOD GRACES BECAUSE OF THIS YOU ROCK😍🤙
These guys are absolutely amazing! I'm so happy you reacted to this. So many channels don't step outside of the box. Thank you for doing so!
If I’d seen this when I was a kid I would have paid more attention in my violin lessons !! 🥴 thanks for sharing 👍✨
Go down this rabbit hole! They are AMAZING!!
These two are complete beasts on the cello!
Music is the common denominator to bring this Country together!!! Love it Bro!
That was fun! So glad you found 2 Cellos. They have many great videos.
One guy in the band is from my country, Slovenia, and the other is from neighboring Croatia (it is next to Italy).

You might enjoy their version of Smooth Criminal.
Their original hit.
That was the one that got them discovered by Elton John.
They got full concerts on utube. Amazing stuff,
Immediately impressed by an American who could guess the time period by the costumes.
There was a group called Apocalyptica, and they had 4 cellos and did a whole album of full metallica covers. Pretty rad! 🤙
This was Awesome; I danced jazz, hop hop & ballet for 17 years and Love classical music and Rock so Thank You for this combo 🤟🤘🤟🤘💥
2 Cellos does a LOT of other modern music. I KNOW that you will love watching and reacting to them. For fun, check out “2 CELLOS - Pirates Of The Caribbean.” 👍

I believe the cello is considered a bass instrument. It was called a standing bass or big bass, here in the South of the USA, by bluegrass musicians.
Cello is a smaller than the Standing Bass (aka “double bass”) , and also is tuned in 5ths (bass is tuned in 4ths).
Cello has a higher and wider range of notes that can be played.

@@imweakfordeaky Wagner's Octobass enters the chat. 😁

🇬🇧Omg, that was IN.....SANE 🤯🤯❤🎼🎶
I use to laugh at guitarist face when they play. I believe they couldn't play as good without doing the faces LOL
Cheers, bro, I forgot about 2 cellos. In my opinion, cello players are the rock and roll guys of classical music.
Love your enthusiasm about the music!
Steve=N-seagulls thunderstruck...gotta do it brother
I have one of their albums and it has great covers of Welcome to the Jungle, Smooth Criminal, and Hurt.
