Ew. I'm not sure if I'm a fan of the EQ2B sirens. One of these years, If they can afford it, I think the government should look into installing PA300 sirens onto their fleets. FDNY's newest Rescue 2 has this touchup.
Boy when i saw unit 983, my words were that the FDNY has every type of vehicle that you could ever think of lol and i mean everything.. Why it’s the best department in the world 🌎 let alone America 🇺🇸 great that the firefighters will be okay 👏🏼🔥🚨🚒📸
That unit is an EMS Conditions boss. A Lieutenant operates the vehicle and responds to assist on EMS calls. Similar to a sprinter. HazTac are paramedics trained for hazmat situations.
All units here are very similar spec. Tower Ladders are all Seagrave, the Rear Mounts are Seagrave & Ferrara, The collapse is a Spartan, and the battalions are chevy. If you would like the exact spec of an specific unit i recommend taking a look at fire.fandom.com/wiki/Fire_Department_of_the_City_of_New_York and browsing!
Excellent Compilation of the Many Different Apparatus of the FDNY!👍👏(Also glad to hear the FF was rescued safely🙏!)
Thank you!!
You're Very Welcome!
He was released from the hospital yesterday
It looks like FDNY has put a lot of $$ into their fleet. Nice video.
Thanks!

Well said Joe, thank you for your support!
Well done.
Thank you!
From the units response list... 91 different apparatus and units... Holy crow😮
Impressive Counting! Yes! Greater Alarms like this generate hundreds of members and dozens of apparatus to the scene.
amazing catch!
Thanks!
Great catches!
Thanks!!
@2:50....Can I ask why Engine 55 has a black line through it's number and also through the FDNY lettering?....
It is black & blue tape done to honor slain NYPD Officer Johnathan Diller.
@NYRescueCam Thank you so much for the explanation... Appreciated... Regards from the UK....
What camera u use?

Nothing screams Out of my way like a PA300 and a Q
@@jacksvacssafety2620 Well put pal
100% agree. Bring back the old school PA300s that the FDNY used for years!
True but I think Q2Bs are good as well
@@Maxximumvibes999 You can never get rid of the Q2Bs.
4:22 why does the spare ladder 47 have a EQ2B. it needs to be a pa300! this is wrong!
All 2005 up sticks are equipped with EQ2B’s!!
Ladder 2 had same rig and EQ2B

@ oh awesome!! Thanks for the info on that, pretty dang cool!
I thought you would tell us the make and model of each unit.

About
That's an awful lot of reponse
80-90 units
Hope the firefighter gets better
He was discharged from the hospital yesterday!
@@NYRescueCamthat 10-66 transmission must be scary to get on the radio
@@SethMaxx1994 yup, definitely not something you want to hear.
In my youth this was referred to as a Chinese fire drill.
