I really like the 360 degree tilt bucket. What a nice tool for ditches and creek work scooping out in the axis of the ditch and dumping in the back of a truck conveniently. If you add a quick oil system u can eliminate alot of hoses, for those on the boom and stick you could add thick rubber mats as they use in tunnels if you are afraid of sticks n crap damaging pipes/electrics. yes it is pretty expensive but you can do so much with a tilt rotator. like 70% of companies in eu use them on every excevator.

I can see it niw, Chris can use the tongs to stack concrete that still has re bar in it. And get a set of the folding steps on his 350. With major operating compartment upgrades.
Straight up, Chris. The electric excavator has a little bucket on it. I suspect a bigger bucket will cripple usage time? I think it is slow to respond, too?
Awesome new equipment! Those tilt rotor buckets must be a European thing. I watched Duck Girl do her thing with them. Amazing what one person can accomplish. She is a one person construction crew. Regarding the electric equipment. Most construction sites do not have power on them, let alone enough power to charge one or more large pieces of equipment. How do they purpose you charge them?
OMG I was thinking at the beginning of the video how it would be so cool if they had Tony Beets or (Beeps as my kids call him for all is swearing). That’s so awesome !
So, for the electric version you would need a portable generator to recharge battery's or solar panels and hope the sun shines? Really cool to see Tony Beets. The 550 looks to be a winner.
Electric excavators have there uses but for the type of work you do in the places you work you would have to cart around a gas or diesel powered generator to every job site. I’d like to know how long they will run on a full charge. I wouldn’t think that they would run for 8 or more hours before needing to be recharged but I may be wrong. I can’t even imagine how much it would cost to replace the batteries.
$60k for the outboard charger with built in battery of the same size. It's a container type thing about 8' x 8' x 10'. 7000 kg I don't know what the battery itself costs.
Huh, and to think someone was actually paid to brainstorm to advance the brand, then decided to say, “Here’s an idea, let’s start using our old logo / font from decades ago.” That’s a bold strategy Cotton. 😂
Those tongs would be so handy. You could pick up the balloons without ever getting out 😅

Cheers from Sweden, were 90% of all the excavators have these since 30yrs back 👍
I’m betting Tony went back and told all his friends he got to meet Chris from LD18 !
Scandinavians love their 4 tooth rock buckets.
A Great equipment for building dam and any con equipment Chris
Well Mr. Customer, I got 30 minutes of digging done with the electric excavator, we'll be back tomorrow after a good night's charge.
Does that machine stay powered on long enough to dig a hole big enough to bury itself in? If so, by all means, make good use of that time...
Very cool video 😎 very cool to see Tony Chris you are very lucky to be able to try out a machine that was just released not a lot of people can say they got to do it but you can l literally just got a Volvo equipment add 😂 at the end I Mike was running the machine 36:30 never seen a cylinder vibrate like that
The tip bucket forward angle, was it greater than yours as tipping crush for Jeff's prepool pour From on the new 230
I have to commend you on parlaying Volvo's interests in your brand , who could have predicted Volvo's response when you bought the Hyundai. Don't waste it, you could use a larger haul truck !
Next year Chris will be working for Parker in Alaska! 😀
I can see it niw, Chris can use the tongs to stack concrete that still has re bar in it. And get a set of the folding steps on his 350. With major operating compartment upgrades.
Volvo is one of the top equipment and engine builder in the world great video thanks Chris and Mike
Loved the museum tour
Straight up, Chris. The electric excavator has a little bucket on it. I suspect a bigger bucket will cripple usage time? I think it is slow to respond, too?
You need it , I would feel so much better watching your vids in this rig .
Chris, you might be able to install the new seats in your existing machines.
Especially in the 350
Awesome new equipment!
The tiltrotators are getting traction also in NA, although slowly.
Won’t be long and Chris gonna be saying, I have a couple of really big oaks to clear out so got this here new EC950F😝
Very cool buck, would it be helpful on pond building or are moving away from ponds? Thank you and have a good day.
The screen has a hazard indicator, and Mike will still scratch the counterweight 😂
OMG I was thinking at the beginning of the video how it would be so cool if they had Tony Beets or (Beeps as my kids call him for all is swearing). That’s so awesome !
What the Beep are you talking about? 😉
sure lakes a plase to plug it in in the middle of know where, jawdrop on the grapple, nice machines for sure , that's a massive bucket 500
Can't wait to see Mike's video reviews in October 🤣🤣
Chris the new Gold miner!!
Wow, the computer technology is crazy on these new machines.
So, for the electric version you would need a portable generator to recharge battery's or solar panels and hope the sun shines? Really cool to see Tony Beets. The 550 looks to be a winner.
Flashback to the veternary clinic job with the 550.
7000 kg
I don't know what the battery itself costs.
What is the run time on the electric? Recharge time? Nice looking equipment. Thank for the trip Chris.
Huh, and to think someone was actually paid to brainstorm to advance the brand, then decided to say, “Here’s an idea, let’s start using our old logo / font from decades ago.” That’s a bold strategy Cotton. 😂
I see Tony was there checking out the 900 ,maybe you and D P might give him a visit up there in his garden 😉
Was the EC500 larger than the large one you had on the big pond project?
