Steve my friend this is very kind of you! It’s always so impressive and admirable to me the people who donate when theirs no obligation to do so! For now supporting would just be sitting back and enjoying the ride with me. Thank you for the generous tip it’s very much appreciated and will most definitely be used!
Good to see you, Landon! The videos you make are so interesting. Other motorcycling videos I've have seen do not hold a candle to yours. The scenery along with your thoughts and information you share while enroute to other States in Mexico are wonderful! Be safe with blessings and prayers sent your way.
Wow what a compliment! I will take this as humbly as I can haha thank you! I enjoy being out here and I do feel truly blessed to have the means to able to do this. It’s also extremely humbling to me that people enjoy watching these videos. I genuinely have a huge interest in people and I don’t mind chatting haha. So this is really fun to me to be able to talk to people on here. It just keeps proving the point that the world is filled with so many kind people. Thank you for taking the time to write this out! I appreciate the kind words! Hope your doing well! Cheers
Landon you are the real thing as far as I'm concerned on RUclips! Your journey throughout Mexico has, and is wonderful for those of us who watch vicariously! I've traveled much of Mexico and I'm glad that you are doing this and posting it on RUclips because so many people have unfounded fears of going to that country. Your exposition what awaits and what is reality is clarified my your video and postings. Thank you for all you do, and I will continue to watch with adamant interest and thank you for all that you do in posting this! May your journey continue to be safe and very rewarding in the many surprises you encounter throughout that country!
Ahhh thanks brotha! This is a super kind comment! I feel the same the way my friend! Sad for the mostly negative light Mexico gets painted in and the videos I think help clarify some things forsure. Thank you for the kind wishes and I’ll be sure to keep the videos coming!
Haha yeah man! It’s kinda hard to describe if you’ve never felt it before, but if you have you can understand it and spot it pretty easily! Such a fun feeling!
If you ever head back up that way again there is a really cool place called las Lagunas de Zempoala and also Las Estacas Natural Reserve is another super cool place in Morelos.
This channel is a hidden gem, destined to be huge some day. Those of us who were early subscribers will one day be lost amongst the thousands of people leaving comments. I look forward to seeing his channel outgrow itself. I hope, when this trip is done, that Landon writes a guide book for other motorcyclists to use and follow his path. It won't be long before his name is spoken often in the same sentence as Itchy Boots and other renowned adventure riders. That's his destiny. Be safe, dude!
Matthew thank you my friend! This is fun to hear and don’t you worry my friend I will remember! I actually have a spread sheet 👍 If the channel did get big enough one day and there’s just dumb amounts of money coming in you already know we’d have to do something legendary for the OGs. Again thanks for the kind words! I’ll keep the videos coming your way!
Another great video Landon!! Love following your journey. So much to see and all beautiful! I was curious of one thing, how do you keep your phone from over heating? It seems to be in the direct sun on your bars. Just curious! Keep riding friend 🤙
Thanks Kerri! And you know that’s a good question haha.. to be honest I don’t really do anything to it. I guess the main thing is when I stop I take it off so it’s not just sitting in the sun. But other than that I think when I’m moving the wind my help it cool off a bit. Not a super good response, but yeah maybe I’ve just been getting lucky with it idk
@LandonBishoff that makes sense, with the wind and all. I was going to say, my phone over heats on my dash but no wind lol I had a feeling you may say you've just been lucky so far :) thanks for answering!
Brotha I’m sorry! I actually don’t know why they turn off :/.. I also tried looking on how to turn the back on and couldn’t figure it out. It’s always just been a think RUclips does automatically
Great vid Landon ! How long do you think this adventure will take you ? Which state has had the best food so far ? And are you happy with the 500 or are you wishing you were on the 690 💪
My favorite state so far for food has been Jalisco. And I am happy with the 500… it’s all I know so it’s hard to compare to others, but when I finish this trip I’m gonna probably ask people here on RUclips with some help test driving a few different other bikes. The 690 is on that list as well as the Tenere 700 are top priority
I see 500ccm. I have 350 KTM exc-f max speed 80km/h and I live in Mexico City. I wonder how far I can go. What would you say is your average speed? Great video
Average speed when going off-road is maybe around 35Km/h. If your going through the mountains and it's all twisted it's a lot slower. However on the roads I can do the speedlimit anywhere in Mexico. 120km/h
Interesting video. If you ever get back to the State of Guerrero you should not miss Taxco, very scenic town and the silver capital of the world. Also, spicy hot is "picante", not "caliente." Keep up the good work.
If you are going up that far north, then you absolutely need to go to Guanajuato capital city. If it is not on your itinerary, then you need to do it. It is an astounding place. You can find nice accommodation there for like $35 a night on Airbnb. I have traveled a lot, and Guanajuato is one of my favorite cities. The architecture is amazing, there are five universities and like 300 bars. Hidden away in weird little places. And LOTS of pretty girls… Hire a guide on the way into town, usually a guy on a motorcycle to take your to your Airbnb. They will be waiting on the side of the road at the entrances. Cost 100 pesos. Otherwise, you will get lost as fuck in the tunnels under the city. Wait….maybe you already did this
Yeahh like you said at the end there I did already do this and I have a video on it as well. Your recommendation is spot on though! Such an amazing place! I had a blast!
@@LandonBishoff Bro..I'm Mexican..I ride and know loads of highways here, drug cartels and some thieves are always in the hunt.. And now, with the "elected president" things are going to be harder.. I'm just giving you and advice.. México is not a safe place.. Ride safe and watch the roads bro.
To say I’m risking my life? What does that even mean? You said you ride a motorcycle right? That is literally “risking your life”. If we both listened to your advice we should stop riding motorcycles right now. Everything has risk so the real question is how much risk? You say enough to risk my life? I disagree, I believe there is a safe way to travel in Mexico just like there is a safe way to enjoy riding a motorcycle. There are ways to mitigate risk and if you follow the rules like only riding during daylight hours, ride respectfully, learn to communicate, etc. You can enjoy this wonderful country. The videos speak for themselves brother. I’m not dead. So I guess the question I have for you is if you put a percentage on your claim what would you put it at? Risking my life what percentage is it? Is it a flip of a coin 50/50? Is 75% 25% what would you say? Because I agree there is risk and it’s dangerous. It just sounds like our opinions on how much might be different.
