A very interesting and informative video mate. 3 times but your attention to detail will pay off.🧑🎓 Were you brought up around boats, or is it something you picked up later?🤔 Best wishes to you all.🙏 Sorry I missed the live.🥺
Better off using resin and cabosil, you can still do it the way you do it one layer at a time using this method and it's just as good as that paste you are using and maybe even better juudging by how easily you scraped it off (even if not fully cured). I'm not saying the paste is no good but alomost all of the boat builders and youtubers use resin and cabolsil, in fact I've only ever seen the bonding paste used by a couple of guys in the UK. You did mention it is flexible but I can't see any advantage to that in a transom and don't see how it minimises air pockets over using resin and cabosil.
@@Fluid36 yes that would of worked fine fluid. But I was advised by a reputable UK boat builder to use gravicol. In hindsight if I did it again I wouldn't use gravicol it's too expensive and goes off way to fast. But saying that it is very tough stuff I did struggle to drill the drain hole at the bottom. I scrapped it off before it went off so it did come off fairly easy. Thanks for your input I do appreciate it

@@C3BFA You are doing a great job regardless, cheers, I'm sure the paste works fine yes but agreed the price did sound high.
