we have got to stop making people famous because they're conventionally attractive 😭 we're making them think they're actually talented

  • @StomeAura

The point of dark humor is to make fun of the absurdity surrounding dark topics, not reinforcing them

  • @warningdeadinside2537

Matt: "Women are very stupid for wearing crystals because their fate may be controlled by a higher power. So, anyways, I wear a cross because-"

  • @johnrence9202

Bo Burnham is the living proof that you can be satire/edgy, write offensive jokes and still be funny because the guy is a genius at writing them. Matt ain't it

  • @yalilitman849

If a comedian ended their actual set by sitting down on a chair, standing back up again and saying "stand up comedy" I would go to all of their shows

  • @Yourfavoritemess

Most of the people defending this guy are forgetting one of the most simple rules of comedy. You should be laughing because it's funny, not because you agree.

  • @SoggyOpossum

Being a comedian these days is pointless. Why bother when Chad is the funniest person alive

  • @non_brewed_condiment

By far the funniest thing about Matt Rife is how bummed he is to not have a male audience. This man gets a Netflix special but to him it's meaningless without the boys.

  • @glossykisses

The real comedy here is that he could've avoided this roast on Chad Chad's channel by simply being THANKFUL towards the women watching him.

  • @iambored5585

You guys just don't understand, his comedy is just so creative and original and ground breaking... Which is why it is basically the same jokes that comedians have been telling since the 1950's and you could hear the exact same comedy routine for free if you hung out with a bunch of preteen or teen boys. And his response is just so brilliant, it definitely isn't the type of response you would hear from middle or high school boys.

  • @Honeymoon696

He’s basically a pick me girl

  • @aloratab9160

"my ex told me I would amount to nothing"

  • @annafavalee

matt rife is the type of guy who looks at himself in the mirror before going out and says: “you got this king” and runs his hand through his hair before getting out of the door

  • @caitlinrix294

"Being attractive is hindering my career"

  • @jennyw5904

being attractive actually makes people laugh at your jokes more though. So it turns out, not only is he not funny, he's also not that attractive.

  • @AllisonHouchin-hd5sh

It's like his group of frat friends consider him the 'funny one' and he decided to make a career out of it

  • @ralphwiggum1203

I love how obsessed he is with proving his comedy is for men

  • @milky_nyan

my mom and sister loved him and both watched the special, they were IMMENSELY disappointed. i felt bad that they were supporting them and taking time out of their days to watch his content LMAO

  • @neckbackcripplinganxietyattack

I love edgy humour. I’m disabled, gay, a woman, so I am often the butt of the joke, but when done properly, I fucking love it, it’s hilarious. However, you have to be aware of the controversy that surrounds those jokes and be tactful about the things you joke about, as well as not have any biases toward those groups. You can tell immediately if someone has a bias against that group by the way they make the joke.
