Acer Aspire 3 Track-pad not working ??solved

- Hi, Today in this video we are going to solve the trackpad issue for #Acer Aspire3. #A315-21-23Y4
The #trackpad was fine until reinstalling the new windows. In the windows installation process, the trackpad stopped working and when the installation finish still it did not work.
I have used the USB mouse and installed the trackpad driver from the official site but still, it was disabled.
Now, what would be the solutions?

Thanks Thepchone! My aspire 3 15 trackpad just stopped working one day. I tried reinstalling a driver with no luck, so I took the bottom off and unplugged the battery and trackpad. After putting it back together, trackpad is working better than new!
This is huge informative acknowledge video. Now a days , my PC having like that problems. Touchpad is not working but sometimes it work while the PC just turn on. I gonna do that by myself

Followed your steps and fixed. Many thanks. Note that I needed to login before touchpad started working, did not work at splash screen initially - a touchpad disabled icon flashed up. Fn-F7 did not work. When logged in - Windows said to wait a moment, blue window flashed up then touchpad worked. Tried everything else, driver update etc. Dev Mgr still says the Synaptics HID is not migrated and needs further install - so that was a red herring. BUT I note the Synaptics HID item is at bottom of list now. Some reconfiguration has gone on.

Didn't work for me Acer Aspire 3 A315-22. Even the touchpad drivers are not available on official site for my device. What should i do now?
A tip when you press fn and f7 it lucks the click pad to unlock it you have to press f7 then fn.

Make sure trackpad driver has installed! Still don't work? Then try to disconnect the trackpad flex cable from the mother board and CMOS battery and then reconnect it ! Hope that would help! Hope you would subscribe to my channel!
yUP. IM stupid. in my case just pressing f7 worked
I have an Acer Aspire 5.....By pressing F7 function key ( ONLY ) It will turn your touchpad on or off.

If you have a acer inspire just get rid of it, its shit. I kept mine in good shape yet I was shipped with a broken microphone, then it ran really slow (I used only 100gb of the 516gb), then then the hard drive crashed. I got it fixed and now the screen has a glitch where it ether goes white or all pixelated. Its a garbage laptop thats not worth your money, get a dell pavalon of all things, it works better than the aspire. (im using a Acer Aspire 3 btw)
I am sorry for your bad experience with acer aspire. i would say you just unlucky this time . but Acer Aspire did rock and roll around 2010 to 2014 for better price and performance mostly for students. But all those sucks now.
