As a russian man who knows history and history of his country and his nation I can say that this DLC can not be so good because of its time. In 4 - 5 centuries slavs were not as mighty as, for example, in 9 - 10 centuries. It was better to make a DLC about prince(knyaz) Oleg's campaign against Byzantine Empire. Make a new map of a Black Sea and surrounding territories including Kiev and Constantinopolis. This would be better DLC.

Venedians farming trait is still bugged. Slavic faction units still have Germanic voice lines, standard bearers, captains/leaders, army names, General traits & household items. Same thing about Germanic aspects applies to the Alans, as well. It's been over 5 years.

this whole update is meant to slow down the Huns in the grand campaign. just like how the white Huns were introduced to slow down the Sassanid empire, unfortunately auto resolve is broken and the regular Huns always receive an infinite amount of doom stacks for free even before Attila comes of age

This dlc is great! I especially like the venedians their farming bonuses really make you play differently, Helping the huns will give you some penalties but then a nice + 20 growth wich is amazing, be careful however there will be a - 100 opinion penalty with your neighbours.

AmericanCaesar 1st point. I preordered Rome 2 Total War for the Greek States DLC. When I entered the battle, the AI didnt even attack me. No matter what you say about other Total War games, the AI at least knew how to give attack orders. 2nd point. If the people who buy Total War games run out of money, then CA and SEGA cant sell games to us. Do you understand basic economy? 3rd point. I am both in school and am currently working full time(40hours a week), however, I will not pay for something broken(yes it is broken, if you wont admit that then its pointless to talk). 4th point.The Dlcs cost 80€ together, and give the game as much flavor as the original Rome 1 had. If you deny this then you have never played Rome 1.
Thoughtfully created DLC/FLC like we find in Total War: Attila, make a game much better than titles without DLC. Here's how... Titles with no DLC, are doomed to a static existence. Assigning them to a "set-date fate". However, thoughtfully created DLC/FLC breathe new life into a game that without it, would otherwise be considered long dead. What I don't like about this is that you're less than two months away from the release of your next major title and you're pumping out DLC for your last major title. That makes me very very worried as a fan (I've bought every release and DLC except Arena) that you will be producing another bug-riddled release on 28 April. Another thing that has me concerned is with you being two months away from a company defining game release, you're not making regular video of it for hype? We still haven't seen a campaign to battle transition, and have only seen one example each of battle maps... both set peice and very non-dynamic. Super worrying... especially as I have to stare down the judgmental look the my pre-order gives me every time I open my steam account.

Having multiple teams working on different games for the same company is not unusual. Take Bethesda, they're working on Fallout 4, ESO, Dishonoured 2 and (hopefully) Elder Scrolls 6.

I don't know what the fuss is about, they have still been developing this game for a year with these dlcs and each faction is much deeper than any of the generic barbarian factions in Rome 1. Many people play sub par MMORPGs and pay over 10$ a month plus expansion pack costs for them. Being able to play Atilla without the added content is still a great a game, In Fact i'm playing a multiplayer campaign with the Vandals and it's amazing, they are free... Even the tanukhids (free), their event chain on the campaign is great and their units are really cool. No one HAS to pay £5.99 for a dlc and on occasion these go on sale anyway. I don't mind paying £5.99 for the work that's been done at their studios for this. They are updating my favorite game. what's that like... the price of a coffee and a sandwich? There are arguments for and against all this like, but I like what they are doing - keeping the game fresh. PS. Poison arrows so OP, need fixed haha!!

You can get this dlc for free downloding the original mod, the mod contains the same factions.

In the byzantine sources they were depicted as dark haired with reddish skin. Even today most of Slavs are dark with some Northern exceptions

dear total war team/ dear community, I just wanna ask if it's possible to edit/modify the victory condition dates (425 for low victory, 450 the rest). I want to play with 12 tpy mod but don't want to wait around 300 turns.

I dont support cheap dlcs tactics but at least in this one you guys put more work than previus culture packs... like in rome 2 those were bad. I hope one day Rome 2 get an update adding stuff from atila total war like family tree ect. dont forget you guys have rome 2 total war. Atilla is what rome 2 should be =/
I wish the family tree wasn't excluded from Warhammer, but as long as I get some good stories behind my characters then I'll try and forget what a family lineage could look like
I don't know what the fuss is about, they have still been developing this game for a year with these dlcs and each faction is much deeper than any of the generic barbarian factions in Rome 1. Many people play sub par MMORPGs and pay over 10$ a month plus expansion pack costs for them. Being able to play Atilla without the added content is still a great a game, In Fact i'm playing a multiplayer campaign with the Vandals and it's amazing, they are free... Even the tanukhids (free), their event chain on the campaign is great and their units are really cool. No one HAS to pay £5.99 for a dlc and on occasion these go on sale anyway. I don't mind paying £5.99 for the work that's been done at their studios for this. They are updating my favorite game. what's that like... the price of a coffee and a sandwich? There are arguments for and against all this like, but I like what they are doing - keeping the game fresh. PS. Poison arrows so OP, need fixed haha!!
