I really want to catch one of this makarels, they must fight pretty good. Great video Sir.
King Mackerel from a kayak! Now that is fun to watch. I enjoy catching Spanish and Cero Mackerel from my kayaks here in The Keys, not sure I would be brave enough to bring a King in the boat. Nice Vid.
Yeah man that looks Hecht if fun. Great video and informative.
D
You Florida guys are so lucky.... Here in Ventura CA (just north of Los Angeles) the sea is big and rough. I often go out and spend most of my time fighting for survival instead of fishing. Conditions here are so bad I am upgrading to a Trident 15 and if that does not work I am moving to Florida. Your fresh and saltwater conditions are awesome. I should get a GoPro and film what my daily conditions are like, you would feel bad for me.......
Nice video, I watch the videos on days like today when it is to windy and big to go out.
I have heard that before from an Army buddy of mine, he also said that Florida's water is a lot warmer. Heck, pack up and move. Lol. Thanks for watching, did you see the w one where I caught my first Cobia. That thing was a crazy fighter!!
Great video man looks like fun!
Love the Salt
I caught a 34 inch speck underneath that bridge at Lake Powell this summer. Still can't believe it!
Wow!! Isn't that big enough to be called a Gator Trout?
Great video. Really enjoyed it. Need to get a kayak! Sub from the UK :-)
I subbed back to see what's next. Thank you for Subscribing
@@MichaelDavisOutdoorAdventures Thank you! Much appreciated 😎 👍 🇬🇧
I'm looking the get my first kayak and vibe hast catch my eye ,wich one will you recommend for this kind of fishing ? Your videos are great !!
Thank you so much. The best advice is to ask around and demo kayaks. Most Kayakers will absolutely let you test one of theirs. What's good for me, May not be good for you!
I would love to do some offshore kayak fishing, but at the same time almost all the fishingfish out there have big teeth lol nice video brother
Thank you. You have to go off shore, you will Love it
You helped me make up mind on the vibe yaks
That is awesome, and I promise you, I wouldn't recommend any product that I don't believe in. Have you decided on which one? We are heading back to PCB in May to hopefully get on some more King Mackeral and Shark
Man I’m thinking about pulling the trigger on the vibe shearwater 120 with the xdrive pedal drive
Now I know where Blake gets the dropping big fish from. Haha sorry you dropped it looked like an awesome trip.
It was heartbreaking because I killed it. It pulled on the old heart strings.
@@MichaelDavisOutdoorAdventures understand completely pal. Like shooting a deer and never finding.
We are new to the neighborhood live on the South side of Lake Powell new sub here today
Thank you, out in front of Lake Powell is the Natural Hard Bottom. Absolutely great fishing. I'm coming down in May, I have extra Kayaks if you want to go out with us
@@MichaelDavisOutdoorAdventures Gotta sell my current kayak for a sit on top....mine will swamp in the waves but it is good for the lake
great video man! I live within the area. Do you guys go out often? I only do bay fishing but I would love to do some gulf fishing.
We try to go a couple times a year. I'd love for you to go out with us!
Fishing out of a SG110 in the Midwest. Haven’t taken it out on Lake Michigan, concerned with how it would handle big water. How steady do you feel in the 110 in big water?
I feel very comfy and stable in it, but I don't stand up in rough water. I try to be sensible. I also like it because it turns easy, if a wave is coming, it's easy to turn and hit it straight on
Nice video, why didn’t you bring out the yellowfin 130t?
The Seaghost 110 was on top in the trailer. Lol so it was easier to unload
Michael Davis Outdoor Adventures lol gotcha
Man I want to tag along with u one day I also live in pcb just have not had the chance to take my shadow caster in the gulf yet
I plan on making a trip in mid May to PCB. So let's do it. it's so fun!
Did you make your livewell?
Yes, I wish I would have made them shorter. Super easy to make
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Bummer
Made me sick, definitely learned something that day
Michael Davis Outdoor Adventures It really hurts when you have to do it from the shore
why i prefer the hook gaffs, over the Hawaiian gaff
nice video tho
I lost a good Mahi-mahi once trying to gaff it on a hook gaff, that's when I switched to the Hawaiian Gaff. I may switch back, the hook would have definately held him. Thanks for the reply
what kind of fishing vest and what kind of knife is on your vest. looking for a set up
I use the NRS Chinook, the comfort is awesome and I love the pockets. I'm not sure what that knife was, but I have switched to the NRS Copilot because it's smaller but works the same
Hey man, can you please give me the location to where you put in at? I really want to go out into the gulf on my yak but all the passes I see seem pretty dangerous
I actually put in at Lake Powell. Not a bad way to go, but you still have to be smart and watch the winds and waves
So u are way down on the west end. Great video
#440 sub 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
That is Awesome, Thank you
What’s the farthest you take your ghost 110 out in the ocean? Planning on using my in the ocean for first time but not going to far out but I wanted the 110 and not 130 because half the time I will be in rivers/lakes so hoping 110 works good and keep the 110 videos coming not that much RUclips videos of 110’being in the ocean thanks.
The farthest I've had the Seaghost 110 out was around 3 miles. I always keep a check on the weather and watch the wind and waves. When they start to get bigger, I go back to the beach.
Rookie
Yep, we are.LOL
