Sheepshead will be abundant then and they are one of my favorite to eat. They will be on all the bridge pilings and and around the jetty rocks.
I have caught them on the deep sea fishing trips.and there very good very clean white meat
Have you tried scraped oysters from the bridge pillars ,when you run out of crabs? I've seen how well you work with the crow bar.
Oh yeah, it seems to work better when the sheep are thicker later in the winter.
