@@drakeredgrave6747 haha okay. I was meaning to say it's prominenfe in beyblade burst killed the competitivity of the generation. Because literally in the evo god series we were all given a LAD beyblade already 🤣
I wouldn't mind it coming back as long as it's not the gimmick of like 12 different beys. If a bey could spin to the left they just dipped the whole thing in rubber and made it a spin stealer
I love the entire L Drago line at it's core, but i think the Fafnir line where the equalization gimmick being for stamina types is the proper way to go. Meteo was odd in that it was a light stock combo that was released during the time when heavier stock beys like Hell Kerbecs or Basalt Horogium were everywhere, so Meteo has to hit the center as much as possible if wanting to win on top of surviving to not get knocked out soo easily. And L Drago Destroy was advertised to be having spin steal capability, but sadly the survive mode on F:S never gave it a proper chance to demonstrate it. So Free's Fafnir line being stamina types is the go to way if wanting to market spin equalization as a meta.
Also, Meteo did a great job because it influenced the creation of Fafnir. If you would mention the F:S then it should be proper to mention how awful Rise and Nothing were as well.
The problem with the mode changes was that the Beys didn't seem to excel in either category. If you had a bey like L-Drago Destroy that could do both stamina and attack, it never really did well with either. There are better attack tips and better stamina tips. If you choose one over the other, you get a bey that is more effective. If they can solve that problem, then I think it could be useful! An example would be an attack/defense tip change.
@PolishBigfootCircle11 There's a whole type dedicated to those Beys. They are called Balance Types. I would say that if you want a versatile beyblade, it should come at a cost; for Balance Types, it was doing great on all three. And I actually like that. The versatility they have made me always come back to Balance Type Beyblades. TT won't make a mode change beyblade that it's awesome in all modes. If it was the case, everyone would've used drivers like Zeta', Xtend+, Quattro', or Unite'. And talking about Unite, I think it does shift more from Defense to Attack than Stamina to Attack. Also, Defense isn't that fun to use, average Stamina combos either are weak or too OP to the point of getting banned, and Attack is very fun to use, but it's tips wear down fast.
Imagine that after another season or two, they'll start incorporating gimmicks into the Ratchets, or maybe even combining the Ratchet with the Bit for some gimmicks.
The way the Synchrome system worked still fascinates me, because of how much just flipping over the wheel part can change the bey. It gets even funnier when you put one of the left-spin ones with a regular one, because then whichever one is on the bottom is going in the opposite direction and it can have funny effects. I also like sticking Ifrit's spin track on Ronin Dragoon
2:39 they need to revise the bound gimmick, the amount of air resistance disables the bound ability at full speed. Maybe use something that doesn't retract as much, like rubber or just a much stronger spring.
Watching this video gave me some serious nostalgia. I only ever played in the plastic gen. I used to have the Draciel defense featured in your previous video. I also owned a Trygle that had the pogo stick gimmick, a Trypio with the giant barrier ring, an engine gear Wolborg 4 and my personal favorite the Galeon with the free spinning parry ring. I played with that thing until one day the ring snapped in half and flung across the room. I did own the magnacore set growing up as well. It was an interesting gimmick but in all honesty the magnets didn't do too much in terms of performance. Engine gear and free spinning parry wheel are my all time favorites though but the engine gear was waaaaaaaay to easy to trigger by accident.
7:12 Obviously L-Drago. L-Drago has magical powers, and a beast comes out of it, Fafnir doesn't. Besides, If Fafnir is hit at extreme speed, it might not be able to spinsteal but rather it'll burst, But L-Drago can't burst, and no bey in metal, even pegasus was able to stop it from spin stealing. Fafnir Lost to so many bladers, L-Drago never lost to anyone, even to the main protagonist ! the main point- L-Drago Can spin steal and then store that energy in the anime and release it whenever it wants to, but fafnir can't store energy and release it whenever it wants, it just steals it and increases it spins only during the time of attack.. and Fafnir can't absorb energy after a certain period of time, when it comes in the same speed as the opponent but L-drago can spin steal till the opponent runs out of energy.
The burst problem was fixed with mirage and vanish. With the nothing driver Fafnir did have potential to do the same as L Drago but the nothing driver rarely goes into attack mode. I loved L Drago because you could hand spin it and because it was an attack type it would hit the bey on its own and spin steal more. Fafnirs still cool though.
Literally only 2 of these Gimmicks would actually work for X (with the height change being a part of the Ratchet and Bit system), The others are literally impossible or would be impractical to add into the layer system as a whole. Before you say spin stealing, No- it will not work due to how hard the beys hit each other and how attack types would blitz the absolute living hell out of a spin stealing bey.
Latest Unite bit probably have the evolution gimmick, as the tip is really covered by the flat protrusion. But really, I can't see it will wear down before it's broken completely. And height changing is currently on with the Garuda Bit. Silver Wolf also features a free spinning part. But well, the bit and chip itself is already free-spinning, more noticeable after they wear down.
Out of all the gimmicks listed in this video, the two (potentially three) I could see making a return are Height Change, Magnets, and *maybe* Spin Stealing. That being said…*IF* TT decides to bring back spin stealing, then they need to redesign the Beys to make it so that all Beys can spin both left and right; Likely by making so that the metal blade part can be flipped over to change between left and right spin before/after a match. Otherwise, it’ll end up being a situation where left-spinning Beys have an inherent unfair advantage that makes using anything other than the same left-spinning Bey (or one that’s similar) completely pointless at best, and at worst will end with matches devolving into boring stamina battles where any chance for a critical hit/knockout/burst finish are greatly diminished. (End Note: Some of the other gimmicks mentioned - like automatically changing performance tips - are ones that I hope don’t make a return. Not because I’m against having the ability to change performance tips on the fly, but because the vast majority of drivers/performance tips that used an automatic tip change sucked, either due to the alternate tip being activated causing the Bey to destabilize (L-Drago Destroy’s Final Survive tip comes to mind here), or the simple fact that the few that kinda worked never gave the player any way to modify when the tip change occurred (Big Bang Pegasus’ Final Drive is a particularly notable example here). And honestly, with the exception of drivers/performance tips that could be manually changed between battles…there’s just no reason to use them, *especially* since the Engine Gears from the Plastic Gen managed to do basically the same thing but better in almost every conceivable way.)
There's an easier way to fix it that you aren't seeing instead of making all beys dual spin I say make an equal amount of beys that spin to the left and ones that spin to the right that way absorption doesn't give you an edge against nearly all beys or even better solution is to make the parts all balanced so you don't get any broken combos like vanish Longinus 10 over bearing drift, that combo is disgusting so I would like zero bearings in these beys or ones that are clearly superior just to advertise a new bey
As much as I want it, spin stealing may just not work. attack types will be a Major counter and the battles just might end before you can destabilize the beyblade. It will work if the two beys are stamina or defense
@@FelineDeskFan13 Dual spin beys mess up the meta so much. I sincerely hope they won't make a very early return on the new generation along with Bearing.

Even though I love Fafnir, and Meteo-L Drago I don't really want spin steal back unless it's a very limited capacity, cuz Spriggan Requiem, and the World ring just like super ruined the gimmick for me cuz it was just so broken cuz it was L/R, so Spin Stealing just became the entire Meta until like Superking
There’s a magnet in one of the parts of these beans so I think in the future they might make the pool on those real powerful so the base will hit each other a lot more
Spin stealing is a good gimmick, but only on attack types like meteo l drago. Meteo was good because it was aggressive to steal the spin, and didnt have a very good LAD tip, which made it still have good matches. Spin stealing as a stamina type against another stamina type or against a drfense type mostly just leads to boring stamina battles that take forever (although still being technically the most effective way of using the spin steal gimmick, its super boring to sit through), although its a lot harder to make a spin stealing attack type because it has to be round enough not to use the rubber as an attack advantage, but still rough and aggressive enough to get good hits against beys it cant spin steal from or against beys with far better LAD than it. Fafnir's nothing break/kick break/whatever break was decent because it could at least lead to a somewhat aggressive bey, but fafnir had a very rounded shape for the most part and so it wasnt very effective most of the time and just drained its stamina a lot. To me L-Drago will always be the best spin steal bey, and no thats not just because of nostalgia, but because it used spin stealing well whilst also not causing it to become a bunch of boring stamina battles.
That's why Geist fafnir was my favorite fafnir, it had an aggressive enough shape that could not only spin steal decently but also hit hard enough to knock out opponents, so it could be used as either a stamina or attack bey, although if you ask me it is probably the worst fafnir at actually stealing spin.
with the awakening gimmick, who remembers when in sparking dragon awakened like every other battle (I don't count cho-z blades because they're supposed to be activated every battle)
Beyblade Iron Battle Season 1 had a kind of loose special move, meaning yes there is a basic special move, but there are other moves you can do that are also considered important. This mechanism disappears in the following seasons. I hope it returns.
The gimmick that this thing does Kaz should come back as a driver gimmick instead of a disk, because I think it will add a lot more punch and a lot more on for every hit and plus it’ll make it recover. I mean you’ll make it bounce off of that teeth of the stadium so it’ll get likes a really powerful, reclining attack recoil attack more powerful than the Single disc could give out I think sorry for the weird sentences. I am using dictation.
I can't remember the name, but they should bring back that one perfectly round beyblade with no burst resistance. Except give the A-type god chip instead of the C-type
I think some of these wont happen but i want most to happen, i would like them to make a zeta type tip cause they have a tip like it in every series so far and i also dont think reboot could work and burst stoppers wouldnt be much help cause the series isnt revolving around burst anymore
I mean the Sting disc The gimmick on the sting disk should be on one of the drivers, or bit as it’s cold now So that if it hits the teeth on the stadium, it’ll ricochet off of them at the opponent
Do you have any new information about astro boy reboot? The last update was a year ago and I'm still looking forward for astro boy reboot. If you don't have any new information about astro boy reboot I will understand.
Sorry, I don't. According to Shibuya Productions website, it's still in development but there's actually a lot less info than there was before and who knows whats going on with it now that actors and writers are on strike. There is an astro boy anime called Pluto coming out this October. Maybe the series was replaced by Pluto but not too sure.
I think gimmicks are gonna work less for beyblade X, its a more extreme face-to-face type of beyblade format which prolly won't bother with drivers or gimicks.
10. doesn't seem like we are getting any rubber drivers right now (valkyrie* if you are talking about tt also savior blade) burst stopers are completely useless with the new system and how the beys actually burst 9. I guess I can agree on that but idk how would you want to implement that and hight is already back in X 8. there are magnets in bits for some reason 7. too big to incorporate into a bit implement 6. a defense type bey with a bound ability would be broken and I'm all in for that having a blade with a spring loaded metal part of the blade would be really good (bound attack is trash in battle btw) 5. me too but idk if another metal part flying out of the stadium is safe (even with how X is now battles aren't completely safe) 4. huh that's actually a really good suggestion (also world spriggan, world spryzen was trash) 3. Idk about that one 2. burst resistance on it's own is not a gimmick but like I said in 1. burst stopers and other ways of tempering with burst resistance in burst all are impossible in beyblade X with how the system is (bits are now the main source of burst resistance btw ) honorable mentions: engine gears - idk how but yes please (royal and command didn't have them because hasbro and the tt counterparts also didn't the drivers were battery powered not wind up) weight distribution - ........but you know that's not a gimmick but a staple part of the gameplay right ? 1. spin stealing is a anime term the real thing is spin equalization rubber is just something that helps with that just having a round enough shape and facing a oponent that spins in the opposite direction is enougth to give a adventage (good example is the wind blade) (also yeah meteo (best l-drago for equalization) is pretty bad compared to the vanish blade that released with vanish fafnir ) also yeah please god no no more left spin beys in beyblade just one and not a stamina type god no rubber on left spin beys is a curse
When you post a video about gimmicks that shouldn’t return you need to post a video about gimmick that should return. The world needs balance, Thanos taught me that🙏
I wouldn't call only battling with god valkyrie proof. Other beys use the gimmick in different ways. If you really want to see if it works you have to test all of them not just one. Also he goes on to say that the gimmick is good for stamina when talking about the Valkyrie DB core.

I personally think spin stealing should make a comeback because it’s my favorite gimmick also I see it in a way that’s different from everyone else who have a somewhat odd opinion of it though personally it was by far one of the best if not the best gimmick’s in beyblade ever.
I think drivers like Nothing should be turned to Beyblade X Bits, I mean we already got Accel from DranBuster and Unite from WeissTiger, so I think a Left-Spinning bey could get a Nothing Bit
I feel like if spin stealing rubberized beys were to come back TT should only do one or two releases maximum. Equalizer/spin steal battles are the sole reason why Burst battles can be insanely boring and tedious.
Im kinda glad I didnt get into beyblade burst. Looking at the anime and all the weird and obnoxious looking beyblades I can tell that TT was about to bust with that lineup until they decided to go back to basics with the x haha
After l drago and especially fafnir, i dont think i could go a gen without spin steal....and i really hope they add interchangeable "faces" its something that kinda made me dislike early burst(i got over it and loved it), i hated that i couldn't make *insert creature" be a different type without hindering performance by too much unlike metal fight whre if i wanted a stamina type Pegasus i could've done it...
Someone already made a rubber bit witch awakening drivers are made out of 99% of the time but the rubber can’t do the x dash making almost useless to use
Yeah buddy of mine he had a purple plastic gin blade that after a few hits the tip would retract and become an attack type I can't destroying his attack rings with he decided to put it away before it broke all his other bays I don't remember the name so if anybody knows let me know
i dunno, "awakening" just sounds like an excuse by the company for not giving you a refund when the product breaks. if anything, it seems silly to have to break your own beyblade in order for it to work rather than just designing it better in the first place. cool flavor, but bad practice

Agreed.
@@pokabewrastlin Actually, the worst one is probably Mirage due to how heavy and hard the rubber is on the ring.
with the awakening gimmick, who remembers when in sparking dragon awakened like every other battle (I don't count cho-z blades because they're supposed to be activated every battle)
Just wait...... next seasons of X
I can't remember the name, but they should bring back that one perfectly round beyblade with no burst resistance. Except give the A-type god chip instead of the C-type
Maximum garuda?
There were some beys that had pop out weapons. I once had a lime green bey that had blades that would pop out.
I hope they do more Valkyrie/Dragon type awakening and less 2D awakening.
Spryzen and fafnir are my favourite beys so seeing conformation from a famous person is like ascending
Upper attack
I think some of these wont happen but i want most to happen, i would like them to make a zeta type tip cause they have a tip like it in every series so far and i also dont think reboot could work and burst stoppers wouldnt be much help cause the series isnt revolving around burst anymore
I mean the Sting disc
The gimmick on the sting disk should be on one of the drivers, or bit as it’s cold now
So that if it hits the teeth on the stadium, it’ll ricochet off of them at the opponent
Rebound in beyblade x might be broken with as much as they hit the wall after the X-celerator rail
@@MarcusHaaksma thank you for your answer Marcus!.
Spin stealing was hella toxic in burst. It can stay dead.
>weight distribution
Welp, we now have the UX line.
I can see this aged well
First (Don't ratio me, just saying lol)
I think gimmicks are gonna work less for beyblade X, its a more extreme face-to-face type of beyblade format which prolly won't bother with drivers or gimicks.
1:38 i still have a working magnacore for a neo-SG i think its currently in my Flash Leopard 2
What about springloaded bits like the Nothing driver
its dissapointing that most driver gimmicks are impossible because of the X-system
If they make the driver really wide, then there's a chance there could be a gimmick, but the driver would have to be as wide as the bey😭
I like the gear system in revolution
Good vid
but not the bullet driver right?
They made free spin in beyblade X in season 2
Bro you I like jumping my favorite bey is capricorn
10. doesn't seem like we are getting any rubber drivers right now (valkyrie* if you are talking about tt also savior blade) burst stopers are completely useless with the new system and how the beys actually burst
9. I guess I can agree on that but idk how would you want to implement that and hight is already back in X
8. there are magnets in bits for some reason
7. too big to incorporate into a bit implement
6. a defense type bey with a bound ability would be broken and I'm all in for that having a blade with a spring loaded metal part of the blade would be really good (bound attack is trash in battle btw)
5. me too but idk if another metal part flying out of the stadium is safe (even with how X is now battles aren't completely safe)
4. huh that's actually a really good suggestion (also world spriggan, world spryzen was trash)
3. Idk about that one
2. burst resistance on it's own is not a gimmick but like I said in 1. burst stopers and other ways of tempering with burst resistance in burst all are impossible in beyblade X with how the system is (bits are now the main source of burst resistance btw )
honorable mentions:
engine gears - idk how but yes please (royal and command didn't have them because hasbro and the tt counterparts also didn't the drivers were battery powered not wind up)
weight distribution - ........but you know that's not a gimmick but a staple part of the gameplay right ?
1. spin stealing is a anime term
the real thing is spin equalization rubber is just something that helps with that just having a round enough shape and facing a oponent that spins in the opposite direction is enougth to give a adventage (good example is the wind blade)
(also yeah meteo (best l-drago for equalization) is pretty bad compared to the vanish blade that released with vanish fafnir )
also yeah
please god no
no more left spin beys in beyblade
just one
and not a stamina type god no
rubber on left spin beys is a curse
also the last bey to feature metal ball stabilizing was the draciel V2 remake (it has planet")
I don't want a spin steal design😣it will make beyblade X boring
I like spin steal.
4:49 synchrom killed metal fight ... nobody liked Zero-G/Shogun Steel so the last half of the series and a number of beys were canceled
🎉 Ultimate reboot
When you post a video about gimmicks that shouldn’t return you need to post a video about gimmick that should return. The world needs balance, Thanos taught me that🙏
Bro free spinning is back to the wolf beyblade x
The rebound gimmick does not work. In fact zankye proved this in one of his videos.
I wouldn't call only battling with god valkyrie proof. Other beys use the gimmick in different ways. If you really want to see if it works you have to test all of them not just one. Also he goes on to say that the gimmick is good for stamina when talking about the Valkyrie DB core.
Rebound is good... for stamina
oohh correcting erroneous info .. much respects
Brooo add Chapters
Wait, what are time tracks? Probably seen it but never heard the name.
@@MarcusHaaksma lol, i mean chapters.. they were called something similar , i don't remember
@@RohitchaharXD oh. My brain just assumed it was a beyblade gimmick lol. I’ll try to add some. I think they were automatically added the last time. Guess it didn’t do it this time
@@MarcusHaaksma Nvm, i just typed it that way, not your fault, i should've provided more context
@@RohitchaharXD all good

I like how beyblade burst has metat furys final drive mode and budget bearing drive and delta drive. And possibly others I don't know. But can the final survive get an upgrade or something.
free-spinning parts.. ahh I remembered gen1 had dual attack ring system which is pretty much the same but pretty worthless back then...it can make the bey cling to the opponent though..
God talking about the beliu 3 core burst locker , I deaad ass broke mine trying to get it back in place :(
I have a Beliu 2 that isnt has effective lol
Its burst locker still can be overpassed
Spin steal. My absolute favorite beyblade gimmick
1:56 it was a very popular system ... people loved magnacore a lot more than EGs
I personally think spin stealing should make a comeback because it’s my favorite gimmick also I see it in a way that’s different from everyone else who have a somewhat odd opinion of it though personally it was by far one of the best if not the best gimmick’s in beyblade ever.
The idea of awakening is hilarious, let me take this thing I spent 20 bucks on and just take a saw or scissors to it
Loose balls as attack points
TRYGLE'S JUMPING GIMMICK the triggered jumping from SG Jumping Base meant to flip an opponents bey
Equalizer/spin steal battles are the sole reason why Burst battles can be insanely boring and tedious.
gimmick 6 holy shit the recoil bro
I hope this generation be more exciting than burst but the 2nd gen still is my favorite cause it’s more fantasy like todays beyblade is a sport
spin stealing meta is so boring tbh
Im kinda glad I didnt get into beyblade burst. Looking at the anime and all the weird and obnoxious looking beyblades I can tell that TT was about to bust with that lineup until they decided to go back to basics with the x haha
Burst had its downs but it was extreamely successful ppl actually liked the gimmicks and design of the blades
You could use magnets for team battles to avoid clashing with you teammate
After l drago and especially fafnir, i dont think i could go a gen without spin steal....and i really hope they add interchangeable "faces" its something that kinda made me dislike early burst(i got over it and loved it), i hated that i couldn't make *insert creature" be a different type without hindering performance by too much unlike metal fight whre if i wanted a stamina type Pegasus i could've done it...
Saw meteo ldrago and immediately clicked the video
Reading the title comes second
Someone already made a rubber bit witch awakening drivers are made out of 99% of the time but the rubber can’t do the x dash making almost useless to use
Yeah buddy of mine he had a purple plastic gin blade that after a few hits the tip would retract and become an attack type I can't destroying his attack rings with he decided to put it away before it broke all his other bays I don't remember the name so if anybody knows let me know
I really want the infinite lock system to be back
Beyblade X is done 😊😊😊😮😮😮
Waw
6:56 metal tips for more grip... METAL TIPS FOR MORE GRIP! metal performance tips have LESS grip than plastic, and POM has less than metal...
If they bring back rubber in x. the rubber needs to very soft but hard
Those two counter each other
They are bringing it back
@@theRaKu i already know that because of impact DRAKE
EVERYONE IS A LDRAGO SIMP INCLUDING ME LMAO
Nothing yet
Then there was Silver Wolf, Trans Point, and Impact Drake (Rubber)
i dunno, "awakening" just sounds like an excuse by the company for not giving you a refund when the product breaks. if anything, it seems silly to have to break your own beyblade in order for it to work rather than just designing it better in the first place.
cool flavor, but bad practice
I'm ok to see spin stealing bey in x as long as they easy to counter by makings them lighter in weights
Burst is such a terrible gimmick it needs another gimmick to stop it
It’s almost like they already did that 😮
the first bey had wings gimmick was wing attacker not raktavor
You forgot, bearing driver gimmick
