Lowes is awesome in denver, they may not have as many power tools, but their home improvement supplies selection, like plumbing, and lumber is much better than HD
I work at Lowe's in the tool dept and I must say this was a pretty good video you made. Can't agree on all your comments but to each his own when it comes to tools.
@7:00 Lenox, craftsman, Dewalt are all made by Stanley Black & Decker (among with many others, I.e. irwin, porter cable, bostich, the list goes on.) So yes they are made by the same company, because they’re all under the same parent company of Stanley Black and Decker.
yep, this guy is awesome. video and talking....might have to visit my local Lowes where my wife works........like I need another tool, don't even know what i have. all in packaging yet..
Allá en USA tienen la gran ventaja de encontrar muchas herramientas y muchas ofertas y saldos muy baratos yo viví allá por Atlanta Georgia y compraba muchas herramientas y equipos muy económicos y de buena calidad
Im a contractor and i hate home depot... in lowes people treat you like if they are happy to have you there in home depot you have to pretty much chase people and try to get them to help. Most times you see the employes hiding using their phones...
That's funny because my nearest Home Depot usually has no cashiers other than in the lumber area. The use the 4 stupid automated checkouts instead of the registers. Must come down to manager's choice.
I do not wonder why the Rockwell machines looks exactly the same like the ones from Worx. But I wonder how they sell that stuff when you have the same machine just with a different logo on it. Cheers from germany! #teamboschpowertools
Ive been going to lowes for years. Then i discoverd HD. HD beats lowes hands down for tools. I feel like Lowes might have the upper hand with hardware tho
I wish we got to see tools in action, all of your videos are basically “look at what I bought” and yeah it’s interesting but just hearing you say “it works great and it’s nice” doesn’t say much, I’m beginning to wonder if any of the tools get used or if collecting them is just a hobby. Love the videos but I feel the content could be better. Really hope you guys could introduce more of this idea. There aren’t many tool test videos out there and it’s a fun topic to watch in my mind.
the craftsman warranty has become a joke. Went i yesterday and returned a broken 1/2 ratchet. The lady went under the counter and grabbed a couple beat up, repaired, 1/2" ratchets and had me pick one. Also had an offset ratcheting wrench but they didn't have one in stock so I can't get a replacement. I have to wait and keep coming back in the store until they get one if ever. I'm not going to keep making trips to the store. Although not Craftsman, Today I brought back a gearwrench wrench that I bought from them yesterday in a set that was very bowed. Nope. They don't warranty the item they just sold to me yesterday. I would have to bring back the entire set in and exchange it. I also brought in a broken craftsmans 1/2 in impact swivel. Nope. Again not in stock. So I would have to keep coming back. It isn't like I can call in because they are completely clueless when it comes to finding tools
The thing with Craftsman is they are now just piggy backing on the reputation they USED to have. Their hand tools are not what they used to be and while some may have a lifetime warranty, you no longer have the convenience of walking into your local Sears store and 10-mins later walking out with a new replacement tool. I can't comment on their new battery powered tools but with all the other established choices like DeWalt, Milwaukee, Ridgid and even Ryobi.. there's no way I would buy into the Craftsman battery system at this stage of the game.
@@OOpSjm That was my point exactly. The lifetime warranty meant something back when you could walk into a local Sears (which around here we still have a local store).
Big difference in how you talk about lowes tools versus home depot. This is actually pretty cool and I guess you could call this professional grade 😂😂😂😈
Yeah I got a kick out of buddie when he said the drill bits look better because they are in a metal case.Cobalt make very good drill bits but then skill ones are junk and fuck
Gotta stay away from the blue kobalt junk. Every one of the kobalt tools I have ever owned is broken except the hammer (if you dont count the grip peeling off). Definitely stay away from that double ratcheting screw driver its a gimmick and only works with double ratchet on machine screws with 0 resistance. As soon as it has any resistance you will only get one ratchet direction to work. They try to get people with those sample displays they set up with the perfect situation. I brought that thing back after first real world use.
Do not buy the Rockwell Blade Runner. What a crap tool. I sold mine in my yard sale for $20. Vibrates the hell out of itself even with half inch stock.

very good video, personaly I prefer home depot, but it depends on what you are looking for, both are great stores....
Nice walk through of Lowe's Dan. I want to go have a look now.
You seem more enthusiastic filming Home Depot versus Lowe's. And I understand why!!!
That Double Dewalt bit set is a great deal, I’m from the U.K. and one set would cost £25, shame you can’t order online from Lowes
That's a good deal on that screw driver set. That's way better than even a HF set. I'm sure they would be fine for your typical DIYer.
The metal ring is metal. Good observation

Haven't had much luck with gerber knives. Just don't hold their edge well. I usually buy buck knives
Irwin is good stuff. 👍
I'll stick with the Klein 11-1 screw driver's too.
The Lowe's in my town is closing so I have been going there just to get the closing sales.
I was a little disappointed this year with lowes but they still have so great deals going on
Allá en USA tienen la gran ventaja de encontrar muchas herramientas y muchas ofertas y saldos muy baratos yo viví allá por Atlanta Georgia y compraba muchas herramientas y equipos muy económicos y de buena calidad
I brought that same craftsman screwdriver. Feels nice but the magnet that hold the bit in place isn’t that strong.
Great video I wanna check out the craftsman flashlight, I have too many flashlights already 😋😅
Kolbalt is Halfords advanced in uk I’ve heard
Do they make something like that Rockwell in battery operate?
If I'm cutting plywood, I don't want to keep dragging on the 6 inch saw.
R.I.P Lowes they only have one cashier at my store and nobody in the store. Go to HD and you can't find a cashier without a line.
My area lowes outsells the Home Depot one mile away by 25 million a year. 🤷🏻♂️
we only have a lowes in my town LOL, closest Home Depo is in VT over an hour away.
Im a contractor and i hate home depot... in lowes people treat you like if they are happy to have you there in home depot you have to pretty much chase people and try to get them to help. Most times you see the employes hiding using their phones...

Always fun shopping with Dan. Now I want to go check out Lowe's gift section. #TIACREW

Can you grade all the tool companies from the highest quality to the lowest quality

The sound was good..don't worry ,,
Very good video Thanks TIA!!

All these tools you said "Wow" to are ok entry level or DIY. Won't hold up to hard use

Walking into your local Sears store? This isn't 1980

Excellent image quality and very good video content, congratulations
Thanks the sound got a bit messed up though. Thabks
If Lowes keeps having "great deals" like this then we will all be saying goodbye to Lowes soon!
At 17:00 the dewalt brushless only have 1.3ah
When you going to menards? Lol

Little saws are Cool for opening packages😕 kinda goofy huh?
When your talking watch how you record because you keep covering mic and it's hard to hear you especially with how low your voice is
turn up your volume ya lazy bollok
You would do well to use these words less: cool, wow, awesome, like. If you want to appeal to guys over 30.
Wow, ok cool thank you for the tip. You are awesome!
Tools In Action: Dude!
Can you please get a external mic 🎤 please
Why, sounds fine for me.
I love it when you guys record a Lowe’s trip!!! #ImAFan
WOW
No Milwaukee No Lowe's for me. Good video tho bro
Lowes sucks now what happen the old man die
craftsman and dewalt are both owned by black and decker :(
Jordan Zimmerman actually Stanley tools owns them all
@@craighatch3221 I guess you just have to pick the best of the junk then lol
Owns Mac Tools as well
Craig Hatch Stanley Black and Decker is the technical parent company.
Lowes makes me sad. I try to stay away.
Sad?
Lmao you just seem bored with Lowe’s “sales” and in turn I’m bored. #THD for the win
