I just watched a video about AA’s history and that scene is semi-real. After finding about Mitch Lucker’s passing, he had a relapse and went on a drug and alcohol binge. One night he overdosed on coke (mixed with a lot of alcohol) and started convulsing uncontrollably. Fortunately he was able to call someone he knew and he was brought to a hospital.

I was a late bloomer if you could say to AA, I came into the scene in 2014 after Danny left. My first AA concert had been with Denis and I just didn't feel it with him being the lead. My first AA headlining concert was with the 10 Years In The Black tour and I had been so amazed to finally see the man who had put a voice to AA in person.
Even though my mom had made me leave before the Encore, I was glad to be in the same room with the men who mean the world to me.

Watching this all over again in 2021, I'm fascinated by all the little details. The biggest one is how often the camera cuts to Ben looking on as Danny gets distracted by booze and women... the look of concern/annoyamce is really prominent, because out of all the guys, I think Danny and Ben are the closest. It's a really well done portrayal of the mixed emotions you have watching your friend go down a dark path... and who goes and looks for him at the end? Ben. Nothing against the other 3... and I know this was acted out... but those are brothers right there.

I miss listening to AA, and acting like i had all the issues in the world, Little did i know is in a few years, id be an alcoholic drug addict making my way into a grave. Its funny how that works, i went from a happy person acting sad, to a sad person acting happy. Id like to still listen to AA, but the songs have became to real for me, especially the reckless and relentless album, lord does that album describe my life, cant hear an intro from that album without getting sad. Id do anything in the world to go back in time. Id change so much, I just hope god will grant me another chance.
