These are all nice places to visit. I have yet to see ghosts here, but of them all I would say Cripple Creek and St. Elmo would be. I wouldn’t be surprised if there were Cryptids in Phantom Canyon. Fremont county is good for rock climbing, like Garden of the Gods. Victor, CO is good for paranormal activity, including a haunted hotel!

Seems like you’d like to experience a ghost. Careful what you wish for. The torment I suffered as a young boy thru my teen years, shaped my life in a negative way until a doctor figured out what shaped me a few years ago. It’s not fun

I’m not talking about a fuzzy evp or a spec of dust orb. Im talking about fear so disturbing you feel like you’re having a heart attack or stroke. I’m talking about your childhood friends too afraid to come to your house due to an experience they had. If the newer owners of my old house will allow it, I’ll take you there. Every owner of the house since we left has contacted us with questions or horrible news

Many years ago I was able to walk most of the Alpine Tunnel. It was unique because it had a bend in it. The West side was collapsed, and you had to walk out the same way you got in. St. Elmo was mostly deserted, and I didn't see any other people as I camped out for almost a week up there.
It was very beautiful and quiet. I had hoped that I'd hear the ghost whistle or the sound of a steam locomotive, but it wasn't to be.
I was about to catch some ghost lights down by Rosita Colorado, but no where else.
I miss my old State. The people are ruining it so bad.

I live for n Colorado Springs and have experienced a haunting at the Lon Chaney Theater. At the time I was not aware it was haunted, but found out later that evening that it had a history of being haunted. Also saw a ghost in a converted Victorian Mansion in Manitou Springs. I also live five minutes from Garden of the gods, a stunningly beautiful place to visit.

@@FrightNightScares yes, I have always been sensitive to spiritual activity in places that have activity. I don’t need to be told, spiritual activity seems to happen around me. A friend was having a showing of a video that was being shown on national television and my family arrived early. I needed to use the restroom. The Lon Chaney Theater is a large facility and we entered closer to the theater where the show was going to be, the restrooms were quite a ways off. Actually around the block if I had gone outside. I was able to stay inside the facility and walked past the darkened balcony area to get to the restrooms. Inside is where I experienced the haunting. It was while I was doing my business and washing my hands that I heard someone walk in and come stand behind me. Very define footsteps. I turned to address whoever it was and there was no one there. There was a definite drop in temperature. In the past I have seen apparitions appear as real as a living person and have to pause to realize that what I had seen wasn’t a living person.
During the presentation I learned that the theatre has a very haunted reputation including the balcony I passed going to the restroom.

I’m a paranormal enthusiast based in Colorado and I’m surprised that the Denver botanical gardens or Four mile park isn’t on the list which I HIGHLY recommended to have in another Colorado paranormal hotspots video!
But I do suggest to use the term, haunted, sparingly. Places like the capital or Phantom canyon I can believe are actually haunted while most of these places on the list seem to be mostly residual or just attract its past visitors.
St Elmo I’m pretty sure is cursed however and I wouldn’t be shocked if it’s on limestone or something to do with anything indigenous American.

@FrightNightScares this past Memorial Day, we went to Phantom Canyon Road. Every single camp spot was taken except 1. We decided to set up in that area. We passed a meadow and followed a game trail to a stellar spot. While hanging out, another person in the group adventures along the game trail and found what looked to be an abandoned camp. There were different items on the outside of the tent, and it had collapsed. We ended up reporting it to the Park Ranger.
The eerie vibes probably stem from the history of the area, as well as the crimes that have occurred there.

I went to St. Elmo 2 years ago. I walked into the white building that looked like it has a jail cell in the back. As I walked in, I heard what sounded like boot heels hitting the hardwood floor. I said hello and the steps went faster. Nobody but myself was around that building.

I visited St. Elmo when I was 13 years old. My mother, father and brother rode in a jeep to the town . It was October and snowing lightly. We were the only one there. I experienced feelings of total desolation and hopelessness. 45 years later I took my three grown sons to St. Elmo and experienced the exact same terrible feelings. I have never experienced these feelings anywhere else .

I f*ckin knew it. I lived in Colorado for 4yrs. I was stationed at ft. Carson. This was pre-Covid when I went to Garden of the Gods. I was in a date, and decided to cap the night off by going to Garden of the Gods and looking at the moon and the stars. I went out there and around that time it was no cars because it was like 2am. All of a sudden I heard what sounded like a Native American drum, and I turned around and off of one of the rocks I saw light and shadows of Native Americans dancing around a fire. I didn’t know wtf was going on because it was only my car and like 2 other cars in the parking lot. I got out and kinda looked around the corner and didnt see not a single person but I did see a lit fire. I ran to my car and immediately left.
