You left out by far the most haunted location in Indiana! Where are famous serial killer is from. Fox hollow farm serial killer Herb Baumeister. He was a doctor who lured gay men when his wife and child would be away, back to his huge manner. The place is set on an Indian burial ground. And Herb killed at least 25 men all that were buried on the farm. Police though found upwards of 10thousand bones on the property. There is a lot of haunting of gay men and Herb himself since he ended his life on the farm. I have been to this location and I have definitely had experiences in it. Herb liked to chock his victims in the indoor pool there. And when I was there a guy who didn't know the story was feeling like he was being chocked and pulled into the water. Location of this is Indianapolis but more Carmel.

@@FrightNightScares I worked the Hannah house during halloween for three years straight. Two things it is very creepy being alone in the house on your own at 3 am. The Hanna house was part of the undergound railroad. There were about 30 slaves hiding in the basement of the home which is rough rock walls and dirt floors trying to escape capture. Anyway a fire started in the basement and everyone down there died. They couldn't get out because they had to be locked in. I don't know if the tale is true or not but whenever I worked in the basement I would come upstairs and blow my nose and it would be all black...soot from the fire.
I’ve actually been through some of the state sanatorium. It’s a really cool place, and I’m pretty sure they do tours every year around Halloween. Didn’t get to explore the top floors, but it was still really cool.
@@FrightNightScares Definitely! Mostly personal experiences at my grandparents house. However, there is a cemetery called Bridgewater cemetery, located in Scott County Indiana where people see things all the time. It's notorious for handprints being left on vehicles by seemingly no one. There's tons of little spots, even my workplace where you just feel a weird energy, although we've seen things there as well.

I used to live about three miles from Okie Pinokie. . I've gone out there many times. We fished and camped. I've heard all the rumors and stories. I have never been afraid of that area. Unfortunately the story about the young man who was beaten out there is true. May he rest in peace. This is not river road. This site has an almost invisible access through two old columns in a field. Your vehicle will take a beating because of the huge potholes in the dirt/gravel road back to it.
We went out there once during the night! The picture my friend took out there has some super crazy figures on it. The most prevalent one is a horned like entity. I wish I could share it in the comment section
If you do another vid about Indiana please cover the Gray Lady at Willard Library. I grew up in Evansville and it was always a big deal around Halloween. And the building does look creepy lol

A few other places that i heard was haunted are the allison mansion and the demon house of gary i have been to the allison mansion when it was a multi use building and one of the uses was for family psych when we were there i always felt like i was never alone and you could hear noises coming from empty rooms from what ive found there was a pool in the basement that one of the allison kids drowned in and on some nights you could hear her screams for help on the main floor there was also reports of hearing the screams from the pools drainage port that emptys into the river behind the place

@@FrightNightScares that was my only haunted house experence though you might be interested in the gary indiana demon house i think some called it the portal to hell due to the fact it had a supposed 200 seperate entitys in the space of a 2,000 square foot house and to top it off large parts of gary are just abandoned due to the ironworks closing shop (the town started as a corpo town) now gary is slowly starting to recover but its gonna take a while before we surpass its peat population
The demon house in Gary was bought by Zak Bagans of Ghost Adventures. His lock down in the house resulted in permanent eye damage. He now has to wear prism glasses to see properly. He ultimately had the house demolished.
I’m currently living in Williamsport Pennsylvania but I’m originally from Frankfort Indiana and will be moving back in a few days I grew up hearing spooky stories about some of the covered bridges
I lived in one of 4 Mansions in Scipio, Indiana that were apart of the underground railroad. The house was in North vernons historical society books. Too bad it couldn't have been saved. Pretty sure it was demolished in 2014 after i moved out. Many spirits walked at night in that house but to my surprise the house i lived in Bartholomew county was waaay more haunted. Orbs, people talking, cold spots etc... You just have to pay attention. I contacted a psychic & a boy named Josiah was always around me & the sound of a bulldozer. She says he thinks its funny to make me jump & scream. He always played with my hair & drew pictures on my back
Well of course if you go walking through the woods you're going to have scratch marks, LOL! Briars grow everywhere in the woods here. I'm surprised Katie's Lane in Washington County, IN wasn't mentioned. That or the haunted house in Mitchell.

I will admit I did have this strange chilling feeling just being at the Dock Street Theater & especially around the St. Philips Cemetery that’s located right near it. It was very strange because I was getting those chills & goosebumps even while it was hot & humid that day… Never before have I felt the heaviness that almost felt like a static-like energy surrounding me, surreal…
I’ve been to the Hannah house and Indiana sanitarium …there’s also the bell mansion in Fort Wayne. It used to be a funeral home and then a mansion . There’s a embalming room and equipment there still.
Thanks for tuning in to the channel @Frances-ov2ok. We indeed aren't from Indiana and do our best to do thorough research but are aware that we can sometimes make mistakes. Have you had a chance to visit any of these haunted locations before?
I've been to okiepinokie. From 11pm-4am when I was in hs. The story goes locally that there were 8 decomposing bodies found in the 80s there with no clues as to where they came from and there are Indian burial mounds there. We had a silent circle where we asked if anyone was there and stood silent and heard nothing, but on the way out of our 2mi hike, we would see shadow people who would dodge behind trees as soon as we put a flashlight on them. We would run at them to look behind the trees and there would be no one. We had a decent size group and were not afraid. We would see no one behind the trees, this happened numerous times. This is all we saw on our hike through okiepinokie
I was sub contracted for security through the US government to secure the building of the bridge and dam. I seen thing's. OMG I seen some ghosts! And two children that I thought was... I chased down the side of the hill.. that looks like Amish kids. Then I seen monster's. And red lights
I do urban exploring as a main hobby of mine. One of my favorite places to photograph (especially at night) is the medical history museum aka Central State. I have been there countless times. Not all the buildings are demolished. As of this August of 2024 the power building is still standing along with another building that I’m not certain of the use for, some kind of school? Either way I like to explore them solo at night with just a flashlight and a camera, while the legality of such an activity is in question I have had my fair share of spooky encounters and sounds. Especially in the tunnels beneath the power building.
I visited central state hospital about 2 years ago. I made a story time video about it on my channel (viewer discretion advised lol). I never uploaded the videos of me actually walking around inside and showing the graffiti on the walls but I could if anyone is interested.
i have an eerie, very real picture from Okie Pinokie. it’s actually a screenshot from a video that a friend sent me, which they got from their friend. it appears to be a ghost child with black holes for eyes…insanely creepy and very real. i’ve personally been there as well and did NOT like the feeling that weighed down the area. Okie ain’t no jokie!
A couple months late to the party here, but here's a story from a guy that grew up in Miami County and actually went to Yoki Pinoki once. I was about 17 or 18 at the time when my friend told me about the place, and how she wanted to take our group out there. I was a bit skeptical about it and was thinking it was just another forest, I'd been in Boy Scouts since like 5th grade and been in plenty of forests in the state and had my fair share of ghost stories so I wasn't really buying it with all the legends around Yoki. Well regardless she and the others, about four of them not counting me, managed to convince me to go and we drove out at sunset, close to 8pm ish I think. Well we show up and go into the forest and didn't really make it far before we just all had this sense of fear and dread, like something bad was about to happen, so we cut the trek short and managed to get back to my friends car right as this grey SUV was rolling up. WE freaked out, booked it to the car and the whole time the SUV just sat there like it was waiting for us, lights on and no one got out which only scared us more. Things got to a point when two guys got out walking in our direction just before my friend started the car and booked it. The two guys just kinda watched us leave and to my knowledge none of us have gone back since.
Just in my hometown and surrounding county we've got a few. The I street clinic (phantom spirits roam the halls of the original section of the clinic and play with the elevator) The Belle Gunness property ( home of infamous female serial killer Belle Gunness who killed dozens of men and children feeding their bodies to her pigs and burying the bones. They're still finding bones over 100 years later) The haunted mansion on Waverly road (multiple stories of paranormal phenomena) The KOP grounds ( former USA ordinance plant the stories are vast with all sorts of activity) That's just a few of Laporte county
Apartments and houses have been built on the old Central State Hospital grounds. I haven't heard much about them but I don't think that I would live there. 👻
Me and my friends would make routine trips to the powerhouse at central state 5 or so years ago. Theres definetely something there, me and 3 other friends saw a lot of terrifying shit there. (Dont go there now, it was technically tresspassing and we couldve gotten in trouble or hurt) At one point me and one of those same friends looked into renting at central state, theres apartmets there now and its an incredibly nice place. Me and the lady giving the tour watched doors open and close by themselves in broad daylight, and theres a lot of empty rooms there because of claims of hauntings. The entirety of central state has some truly creepy shit going on there

Whisper Estates, Hannah House, Indiana State Sanatorium
Thanks for checking out this video @Everythingis22. We'll definitely look into those places for future videos. Can you tell us a bit more about these locations?
@@FrightNightScares
I worked the Hannah house during halloween for three years straight.
My home. ♥️ Indiana is spooky, especially here in the south.
Thanks for checking out this video @EYExINxTHExLENS. Have you personally ever experienced anything extra spooky while living there?
The only thing spooky about Indiana is all of the Hoosier's that live there. I'm 30 minutes from the border with Indiana so I know all too well... 😂😂
Columbus Indiana… the crump theater
It's a great state! : )
Ghost hunting in the 90's was a blast. For some reason all the good spots have been demolished.

I agree. It’s just not the same.
Peru native here! I've been part of two paranormal investigations out at Okie Pinokie. I'ts definitely haunted

The demon house was demolished from what i heard @@thundermite1241
The demon house in Gary was bought by Zak Bagans of Ghost Adventures. His lock down in the house resulted in permanent eye damage. He now has to wear prism glasses to see properly. He ultimately had the house demolished.
Gary Indiana is scary period! You'd have to pay me to go there during the day. So there is no way in hell I'd ever go there at night!

I live in Mitchell, just a 2 minute drive from that scary haunted house. Been by it many times.
Do the Bristol Opera House and Little Egypt Cemetery. Being from northern Indiana, those are two places that are famously haunted around here

The Richmond story was scary. Almost like the property would never be unnoticed with all that paranormal activity.
The haunted bridge ran through my backyard growing up :)
I have been to Okie Pinoki and it is creepy as hell at night...

A popular video based on INDIANA?? THIS CAN’T BE REAL!
There are a lot more than just these 5 places in Indiana. Let's hear about them
@jeffereypedigo4965 You are absolutely right about that! Don't worry, we'll have more of Indiana in future videos!
Just in my hometown and surrounding county we've got a few.
The I street clinic (phantom spirits roam the halls of the original section of the clinic and play with the elevator)
The Belle Gunness property ( home of infamous female serial killer Belle Gunness who killed dozens of men and children feeding their bodies to her pigs and burying the bones. They're still finding bones over 100 years later)
The haunted mansion on Waverly road (multiple stories of paranormal phenomena)
The KOP grounds ( former USA ordinance plant the stories are vast with all sorts of activity)
That's just a few of Laporte county
Just went to Avon Bridge this past Saturday and nothing matter of fact it was boring. They also lock the gates at 9pm
(Dont go there now, it was technically tresspassing and we couldve gotten in trouble or hurt)
At one point me and one of those same friends looked into renting at central state, theres apartmets there now and its an incredibly nice place. Me and the lady giving the tour watched doors open and close by themselves in broad daylight, and theres a lot of empty rooms there because of claims of hauntings. The entirety of central state has some truly creepy shit going on there
I live in Indiana! I’ve lived a lot of counties here too. I will reply if I have lived any where you talk about. Now New Albany is my place of residence
Fun to find out the first place in this video is in the next town over to you, honestly drove pass it multiple times had no clue it was haunted. We went to oakie pinoke and we could tell no one was there because we were in the area that’s all gravel, (if ur standing in the middle of the gravel circle, it’s like 20 feet each direction of just gravel, and then that gravel in surrrounded by trees) and we kept having gravel thrown at our car and us when we got out, heard whispering as if someone was right next to us, and when we got in the car it wouldn’t start and once we finally got it on, it felt like the biggest chunk of gravel was thrown at the back of the car

Hey there from Mitchell. Crazy.
The train tunnel in Tunnelton, Indiana.
Im shocked that Whispers Estate wasn't mentioned! Its a place in Mitchell, Indiana. Not that far from me actually. It was owned by a doctor and his wife. A fire broke out in the parlor, and caused the daughters of the house to pass of injury and of strange circumstances. Its really cool and yet sad to think about. The estate was even mentioned on an episode of When the Walls Talk! It brings a lot more information of the past.
