High value production, insightful and engaging content & and a pleasant host. Another Jeff Su video in a nutshell! What more can you ask for? Thank you, Jeff! I look forward to implementing these at work.
Coincidentally I just used GPT (an internal model we run in our company, not the online one) to help me summarize and build out my own self-evaluation. It was super useful I didn’t use your technique but I did start with a lot of background about myself, my role, then what I did this year, then concluded with detailed instructions on what I wanted it to do (in this case I broke this up into multiple prompts). Thankfully, this particular model was already trained on our company’s high level objectives so it was pretty easy to use this particular GPT to then wrap it all up with some demonstrations of our high level objectives. It was pretty mind blowing! I was able to take about 2k words explaining in detail some context about accomplishments in the year and have it very cleanly and eloquently boil it down for me into a nice paragraph or two (along with a separate section on those objectives). Another HUGE “killer app” for it is the summarization, particularly of large amounts of content but most especially product reviews, surveys, various feedback and etc. This really is revolutionary for that use case. It is a large language model, after all!
Hi Jeff! I've been also using ChatGPT at work for helping me with rather complex Excel formulas and it works really well. Same applies to Google Sheets.
These are useful prompts. The main concern though is privacy, especially if there's company-confidential information in the prompts; probably nothing will happen, but it could pose privacy risks since OpenAI uses the data to improve/train its models. This can be mitigated (though not solved) through the Data Controls feature (option to disable chat history).
This is a GREAT video! I’ve used Chat GPT to generate some incredibly helpful work tools including outlines for training slides. These prompts are very helpful!!!!

Hi Jeff. I have no idea chatgpt can do that. Can you share us the general format pf your questions? Seems like you are assigning a role first, describing situation, and then giving the tasks.
So basically there are a few elements (in my opinion) when it comes to a prompt structure. In order of priority: 1. Task (e.g. generate a list of creative ideas for a birthday party) 2. @JeffSu it's an opensource Python project, I've done a pretty long demo on that. Hard to miss among my videos as I don't have many. Feel free to use as many clips as u need from that.
I utilized ChatGPT to provide a summary of the video without actually watching it, which saved me 9 minutes.
Hahahaha nice one! Which app did you use?
Very cute!
Thank you :)

I am preparing for a performance review at my company where my work is evaluated against three key attributes: **Attribute 1, Attribute 2, Attribute 3**.
As part of this process, I need to write a self-assessment that reflects my contributions over the last two quarters. I would like this self-assessment to justify a high performance rating.
To help with this task, I will provide definitions for each of the three attributes and a summary of my projects and contributions. I would like you to:
1. Assign each of my projects to one of the three attributes where it best fits. Please ensure that each project is only assigned once.
2. Write a positive and detailed self-assessment for each attribute, explaining how my projects demonstrate my proficiency in that area. Include specific examples and details.
3. Highlight the impact of my work by including quantifiable metrics where possible. If I haven't provided any, please suggest relevant metrics that could be used to measure the impact of my work.
Here are the definitions of the attributes:

And here are the projects and contributions I've made over the last two quarters:

There you go!
So much gold in here! I have broken up all the tips into my own Notion page for reference, subcategorizing them into 'lifehacks', 'networking' etc. Thanks
That's awesome!! I'd love to see your page sometime haha
