Yup, this has been precisely my attitude about my music for many years: why would I want to be famous? How could I ever get any work done, if I were having to constantly deal with the attention of hordes of other people? Fame might only be tolerable if the work you were doing was positive for many and could only be accomplished through fame. Even then it would necessarily involve a certain level of personal sacrifice. A serious artist, I should think, would rather be left mostly alone to create and let posterity judge any possible enduring worth of their art.

Political folks and the one in control sure give no shits ....should ask them how happy they are with making rest of us miserable ....
