The electric was amazing while it cost less than a quarter of the price per mile. Now the billionaires want more of our money (blaming staged wars like we are stupid) it's about half the price of diesel per mile. Which is still not bad. But not like the early days.
I wouldn't buy an electric car. Lease them. It works out about the same anyway as buying a new one and selling it 3y later!

Watching your vlog, is the perfect example of why you should buy a burger at Diddly Squat Farm, & every reason not to buy an electric car. You seem to have developed a new syndrome, called 'range anxiety', & bearing in mind, how far technology has advanced in the motor industry, with air-conditioning being fitted as standard on most cars, you seem to have ended up an anxious sweaty mess, with air-conditioning you can't use, in a car you daren't drive at legal road speeds, & a possible 30 min wait for charger, plus charging time, to be free. How is that progress? & how does all that contribute to your concentration while driving.
I think I'll soldier on in my 2014 Vw Beetle 2.0 TDI sport, with it's 690 mile range, continuously usable aircon, plus it's 3 minute fill up detail, & worry free drive, knowing I'll arrive reasonably fresh at my destination, & also having the security of knowing before setting out, that, bar an act of god , I'm actually going to get there that day, & not on the back of a tow truck, who knows when?
Electric cars are nowhere near remotely able to replace the internal combustion engine at this time for the average driver, that's for sure.
Great vlog tho, like your work. Regards Urban Geeze.

Over 10 pounds to get to 33% even though you were not on zero! Shocking cost. Cheaper than running a petrol on that journey but not when you factor in the huge price of an electric vehicle purchase new or used. I am starting to find these videos funny although I am not sure they are meant to be. From Chipping Norton you had Banbury not far away with 8 Instavolt and 6 Osprey chargers. Warwick has 4 Instavolt chargers at a McDonalds, you could even have made it to Rugby services which has 12 CCS chargers. That's 30 chargers well within the range you had and there are countless others yet somehow you managed to almost run out of charge.

12 pound for honey is a good price, for those that say its expensive go and be a beekeeper. @ 12 pound your beekeeper is working for 3pound an hour if that. 1.50 for the jar .80 for the label+ delivering the honey to the shop, We have to pay for honey testing and beekeepers are meant to do at least 6 inspections a year to maintain a healthy hive with each inspection taking from 20minutes to 1 hour each, then they have to extract the honey, maintain the hive equipment, protective equipment and maintain extracting equipment and have insurance. if you want cheap honey the taste shows, you may as well buy sugar syrup because that is likely what you are getting. Support your local beekeeper and help put their child through dance class or scouts, if you buy the cheap shit your just buying another beach house for a coperate cheapskate. Love the video and that burger looked tastey. keep up your great vids. On another note stop supporting electric cars, they are worse for the environment than a truck. Stop falling for the lies in mainstream, carbon emmisions just to make the battery is the same as building a 4x4. educate yourself and stop falling for the electric scam.

Clarkson , Hammond and May were the Rolls Royce of Top Gear it was a great watch proper petrol heads . However I would sooner drive an EV that watch it now [ those three wet blankets have killed it ] especially has am approaching my 66th birthday in December , just think with all that time on my hands I can spend it hanging looking for around charging points , eating food and getting fat whist wait for its to reach its charge. I dont care where or who sells burgers but £10 for a burger is pure day light robbery in my book.Great content Lee .

Are electric cars environmentally friendly ? Correct me if I'm wrong , your electric car uses electricity that comes of the national grid which is sourced from coal and nuclear power plants . Then there is the environmental impact on mining and disposal of the lithium iron batteries , plus the battery s are likely to catch fire in a car crash ! .

    • @bigpete111100

@@bigpete111100 it’s easy to extinguish a petrol fire…not so with Lithium..also the Pollution created by Lithium mining is massive and outweighs the benefit of owning an electric vehicle…a pointless exercise to be honest.

I’m still confused by these videos, I drive a diesel (soon to move to an EV) for work and if I have a journey of 200 miles I make sure I’ve filled the car up or have more than I need before I head off, why wouldn’t you charge the car before you head off? Or charge before you go into a rural area, or open the sun roof and windows if it’s warm? So many questions.

If the farms close, as was predicted in the second series, all of those lovely views will vanish into a nature reserve of brambles and other assorted weeds. So what price are you willing to pay to keep those lovely views? How inconsiderate of the local people to have built their roads too small for your car. Your passive-aggressive tone every time you made a comment is so over whelming it was bordering on harassment. I am getting the feeling you have never seen a tree or a field before in your life.

I’m an Australian living in rural Victoria. EV are ridiculous and impractical. I live 2700 km (1677 miles) from my mum, imagine how long it would take us to drive there in an EV. Australia is very vast and we travel greater distances to get to anywhere. Plus I love the sound of a good V8. Oh and that is about normal price for good raw honey, not like the crap you get in the supermarket that has god knows what in it, from god knows where. 😁
