I never watched it as do not have a tv, wowsers, how to make gold out of manure! Just show how stupid people are. Local farm shop is probably cheaper anyway.
Thank you so much for going. I live in Texas and was thinking about going to visit when I’m next on holiday. I would have been upset if I had planned a trip and not shown up early enough to get inside. Who knows if I’ll be able to make the trip at all at this point. I enjoyed the video😃
God , the comments on here talk about rude and insulting too Richard . I think most people know what to expect, from Didley sqatt. But they had a fabulous day out. And that what counts .
Cracking video sir and thank you. I will wait till the novelty fades and we happen to be on holiday near by before visiting Mr Clarksons shop. Now you could probably charge a fair bit for helping you on the farm for the day. 🤔😉 Or just gave a "Plenty Of" barbaque and charge £15 a burger 😁. Thank you again for the journey. Stay safe 🏴
I'm a Brit married to an American, and we live in the States. We're both heading out to Diddly Squat first thing tomorrow morning, we've been wanting to go for months!
@@thefunkyfarmer Thank you! We were planning to arrive for 9-10 but following your vid, we'll leave a bit earlier. Only a 90 min drive in an embarrassing Kia rental car 😂
Your kids are unbelievably well behaved for having to wait so long in a queue- you know what you should do something similar you have over a hundred thousand - keep pushing out content and a place to eat on your farm and I would bet you would have as many people in a year or two
@@thefunkyfarmer Richard: It was a super trip! Made my day! My cat, Mickey McKat, loves lavender too. I had never seen it growing. Thank you for taking us to the lavender fields.
Looked like a nice little day out. I like Clarkson and I enjoyed Clarkson's farm but I don't think I would bother queing up to get into the shop. I'll leave that to everyone else. It's definitely a smart way to make some money and of course bring money into his local area too.
So many people filming their day there I don't have to go just watch everybody else standing in queues I've spotted the honey on eBay £40 a jar. and you've gained a like and a subscriber.
Great vlog my friend. What I liked so much about Jeremy's Farm, was how he highlighed how difficult farming is, I know he made a joke of things and it was done in typical Clarkson way,(bull in a china shop) but he did get across that a farmer's Life is not easy at all.
I would like to think that after watching the Amazon tv series and this video, that people commenting on the prices would actually take stock and understand British farming more , think about how the retailers rip off the farms, how cheaper inferior products come in from over countries , understand that the majority of the British consumer have been brain washed with prices, now perhaps you all will consider what something is actually worth from making it to selling it, and then you’ll realise that perhaps the cheep stuff is crap?
Great video Richard. I loved Clarkson’s Farm. What a fantastic programme and showed many aspects of farming which as a non farmer I was very interested in.
Clarkson was hiding out the way by the looks of it, LOL Shame you didn't get to see/ meet Jeremy Clarkson, he must of been busy with TV ! unless farming, LOL
I can’t believe that people will come so far, and in such numbers, to shop at a tiny shop because it belongs to “him off the telly”. If local producers could set up stalls nearby there would be some sense to it. Madness!
15:35 You and your son just summed up what Clarkson's farm is really about. Candles "£22 pounds" "YES". Funkys Sweaty ballsack candles coming to a shop soon just £11.25 😂😂 .
Great show you have. You have a great knack for TV, also great at interviewing and highlighting economic benefits of farm shops. Only suggestion is buy a gimbal for you phone to steady and smooth your videoing with your phone or camera❤
Turn up on the doorstep and ask. One of my leading hands was on the dole until he knocked on my door and would not take 'No' for an answer. Now he's bought 2 acres and is building a house. Great worker. So front up and don't take 'No' for an answer.
From middle of America love the family day trip through your young Harry and Jack eyes. Bravo so happy to share family time. My son is 45 years no grands. This was a pleasant view of England. Good job on video.
Broadway Tower is close to where I live in Worcester been there a few times know that area very well. Burford nice area 👌 You all were very close to the Farncombe Estate. Madonna stayed at Foxhall Manor (only £599 per night) My friend was head of security there. Very expensive place.
Clarkson seems a little greedy with the prices. Farm merchandises are also more expensive than other RUclipsrs. As you say the farm shop should be bigger people will get tired of queuing
You’re a good dad. Lmao I think the blues brothers quote he said “we got a full tank of das, a half of pack of cigarettes, and the police are chasing us - hit” something like that
I wanted to ask how close you are to his farm. An honest question from someone in the USA. Is Clarkson's show a good or bad thing for English farmers. What is the conversation like with fellow farmers?
@@thefunkyfarmer I recon he has done British agriculture a big service, highlighting many of the trials and joys of living and working in the countryside.
@@FarmerP I've got to tell you, Farmer P, that I really enjoy listening to both yourself and the Funky Farmer. Love to listen to the SW accent. It is different than the American English that I am used to hearing, but very easy to understand. It sounds a bit like the pirates in our Disney movies. Do you supposed the pirates came from Bristol area?
been to Broadway Tower and the Lavender Farm gorgeous flowers.
Hope those that travel there actually learn to use the local farm shop near to them
I never watched it as do not have a tv, wowsers, how to make gold out of manure! Just show how stupid people are.

It’s a gimmick. It’s a tv program and Clarkson is not and never will be a farmer. Only idiots buy into this facade and he milk them

Have fun!

I think I could lie down in those Lavender fields and sleep until winter!! :)
Oh yes!
Hi Richard, I lived in Broadway for many years. Did you see the memorial to the Bomber Training crew who crashed up there?
yes i did, sad to see that
What do you mainly farm
Went last year as we were down that way , drove in and straight back out the carpark
Why

How lovely that you would support him as he supports farmers.

Yes exactly
you should start your own enterprise selling milk and milkshakes and you could call it funky farmer juice.

I hope so too!
What a great video you made nice family you have 🏴
Just went to the farm today and Clarkson and Kaleb were cultivating which was cool
that was lucky
Were they filming?
If you don't like his video why watch it? I never understand that
Went there today and was great as even got to my Jeremy
Clarkson is literally "milking it"!!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
As a beekeeper who always tries others honey, I wonder if dairy farmers do the same and taste the nuances...

Clarkson must be laughing all the way to the bank.... couldn´t farm to save his life but he can make money!
