Do you do any watercolor tutorials? Do you use soft pastel sticks? Your art is very beautiful.
Excellent work Jason 👏. Just one question though, You didn't do the nose and eyes with pan pastels. Was this because they would be too fiddly and easier to do with the pencils?
what tier is this particular collie pup on? I can't seem to spot it over on your patreon page?
What kind of material I can use instead of pan pastel. Thank you
pastel sticks or pastel pencils - I use those in a lot of my other lesson videos
Why do you HAVE TO START WITH A TRACING, and not showing, fresh WITHOUT a cheated tracing then transfer? Watch Emmy Katio, she NEEDS NO tracing, no transfer. She starts the EYES. NOTHING, no CHEATED transfer. THIS is why WELL KNOW ART GALLERIS say such work is NOTHING MORE THAN the artist a COPYIEST nothing more. Even portrait artists NEED NO TRACING, they know the anatomy. THEY KNOW how to start to finish. BUT YOU ARE NOT TEACHING . ALL your are doing is PROMOTING for Many cheaters, that are NOT interested in doing a pet they have, but to STEAL other peoples work photography, or art , tracing and follow you. THIS is PLAGIAEISM. ARE YOU A CHRISTIAN believe in GOD.?
I’m drawing my cousins white dog that passed away. It’s pure white. The photos are not great. I started on a tan/sienna Pastelmat. The grey I have is charcoal grey and I thought it would show through too much? Should I start over? There isn’t much contrast in the picture which is difficult. It’s almost all pure white. 🫤 over exposed. Ugh I feel stuck now
its never good to work from over exposed photos - the details and subtle colours are gone, use similar photos of the breed to get colours more accurate
@@wildlifeartjm thank you so much for your reply and advice. They did give me other photos. I try to go back and forth between them . I want the portrait to look as accurate as possible. I blasted the details and clarity with no color so I can see the direction of the hair. Is sienna color paper ok for a white dog? Also, I came up with a problem last night I don’t know if you dealt with before, I seemed to have scratched the Pastelmat when I was transferring the image. I pressed down too hard with the stylist. Should I try to trace inside the indentation? Do you know of another method? It’s pretty deep 🤦♀️ I would love to do your method of transferring the image but we don’t have a photo printer. Thank you again for your response. Your videos are the best for realistic art. So much helpful information.
