Thank you Phil! You are one of the best drawing teachers and your didactic and methodical tips are just great. You limit yourself to the essentials and so any layman can keep up.
I just want to say a massive thank you! Thank you for taking your time to film this and also to upload it here for everyone to watch. Considering most people have to pay for content like this, I really appreciate your generosity!
I’ve done a few online lessons of yours, Phil and been very pleasantly surprised with the outcomes! I think you are an amazing teacher and really appreciate being able to follow some more of your lessons through this channel. Thank you so much🙏👏🙃
Thanks for the kind words Tricia 😊
"I just got lucky" - thank you! Sometimes I watch artists tutoring online and they seem to draw everything the first time and even if not it's just" slight correction there" . Also, you didn't start with gesture sketching but a box - I was waiting for someone to actually use basics of drawings in their teachings. Hallelujah!
Fantastic tutorial. I really appreciate your video. As a person that likes to use measurements this is something for me.
A very wonderful way of studying the proportion of any object! I found the whole video really helpful. Thank you so much for sharing
Awesome tutorial video! I am looking forward to following this whole series of lessons.
Wonderful lesson, really inspiring & clearly explained. Thank you Phil!
Thank you, how generous to post this.
So 1/3 done. The Springbok I was able to sketch with help of your instructions! Thanks. Will tomorrow try the next exercise.
amazing teacher and really appreciate
Thank you so much! I love drawing and sketching animals!
What a high quality product you offer us. I'm looking forward to coming back to follow along. Your narration of your thoughts is invaluable. TBH, this is better than the drawing instruction I received at my local art college.
Thank you for the free 101 sketchbook ideas. There are so meany great resources included!
Fantastic lessons thank you so much for this.
Well done.
Thank you!
বাংলাদেশ থেকে শুভকামনা রইল স্যার।
thank you so much for this video this will be super helpful for me. ❤
I started to really love drawing then done something to a tendon in my arm and have lost all feeling in my pinky and ring finger. Have not been able to pick up a pencil since shame as only took up drawing at the start of the year and see your video online for joining a course and learning how to draw an elephant. Best sketch I have ever done.
Just wanted to leave a comment. I teach art, so I am always looking for other ways to present drawing techniques. I enjoyed the box technique and using angles. I usually focus on basic shapes and forms and teach students to look at the negative spaces to find angles, curves, distances and so forth. I always start off teaching with basic drawing fundamentals and move forward from there.
I used to watch your dad and you are a lot like him
t h a n k y o u. I'm very happy I found your channel. Thank you for your wonderful work and sharing your instractions - imazing!
