I grew up in their heyday, I share a birthday with Donny, which I only discovered recently. People are so idiotic and judgmental. As a kid if I said i liked the Osmonds I would get teased, but who cares, when I was 16 and bought my first car if you road with me you got the Osmonds, Dr. Hook, Kenny Rogers, Nitty Gritty, Doug and the Slugs. all my favs, I liked a lot of the Partridge Family's songs a s well. My mother loved them as well, we drove a couple hundred miles one summer in the early 80's to see them in concert together, the whole family the Bro's plus Donny and Marie. Great memory's. Wonderful family wonderful music.
This is a very rare and special moment as Alan (age 70 in 2019) had retired in 2005. Since then, Wayne (68) had to retire due to health reasons in 2018. Jimmy (56) had a stroke (his 2nd) in December 2018 and as of now has not returned to performing, and Merrill (66) and Jay (64) officially retired on October 14, 2019 when they appeared on “The Talk” tv show for their sister Marie’s 60th birthday, thus ending a career that spanned 61 years
