      The N400 had a good bit more of torque across the rev range. If it's plowing the air for our rider then hanging with it is no problem. That Ninja was also ridden by a 120 lb. rider. Our guy is 170. Once out of the Ninja's draft the rider/bike combo was not really a good match for the Ninja. In the braking zones and corners however, our rider was definitely doing some great work. We have a Ninja 400 now to add to our lineup. We will have videos of that bike dominating the track soon.

    from a stock r3 owner perspective, just by looking at the instrument gauge cluster, this r3 is way faster than stock. stock r3 4th gear maxes out on 80mph, this bike hits 100 on 4th gear. a stock r3 can hit 100mph in 6th, and it will only very slowly creep up to 110 depending on road conditions.

    • @kindajal
      @kindajal 5 лет назад +1

      if im not mistaken its the same price so why not haha
      only bad thing about inverted forks is when its leaking due to gravity oil will flow out more compared to upright forks..
      what makes the forks better inverted or upright is its components inside the fork. not the orientation

I owned a 2016 R3 with a full exhaust plus 91 octane protune and on stock gears my top speed was around 116 max revs like 12500rpm. So if you're hitting 124 on stock gears with no aero that would mean you're spinning around 14000 rpm? lol Last I checked the MT and R3 were geared the same so... what are you feeding it??

      TSTindustries wow! If you dont mind me asking, what kind of gearing were you running? If my memory is correct, your running 415. As a r3 rider thats impressive. Shows what some engine work would do. Anyways ive been following this build since the beginning, keep going with it. I know some of the parks are works parts but id be interested in a update on engine build part. I saw the 1st one but im sure its been fine tuned. I wish i lived closer to a quality engine builder.

    it looks a great bike its about time they did some lover CC bikes for UK so the yonger ones have a good bike to start on rather than 125cc to 600 like most do and fail, on the other hand it seems little under powered, i had a Mito 125cc with 172cc kit with a little self porting and 2stroke of course would easly give that a run for its money. think 4strokes below 400cc are not very good having ridden a few they always lak power but are perfect for beginers but that is all there good for. Great riding seem to have th ebike set up very well for the type of track.

    So much for calling the R3 a beginner bike. Those are the 125cc Honda Super Cub or the monkey. As the racing series heats up in the future the engine will become more powerful making this light sport bike the perfect track bike (without spending 15-20,000 dollars.)

      It wasn't reaching our rev limit set by our techs so it wasn't cutting power. The pressure from the wind when out of the draft was exceeding the power produced so the RPMs would not build any higher.

      We have had this thing turned up to 14,200 in the past. It is a purpose built race motor designed to withstand higher RPM. But even on the stock motor tunes we provide we increase the rev limit by 500RPM from factory settings.

      The bike that flew by is an SV650 belonging to the LT class that we were running events with concurrently. The pack you are referring to is all riding 400+cc bikes because the footage is from us entering 500cc max events. I think we did pretty well against bigger bikes on our 320 CC R3. You can see how we fare against the same displacement bikes in the video covering our National Championship win in ASRA Moto3.
