Really beautiful parallel of sisters reuniting and emphasizes how JInx's role has shifted to being the older sister.
The moment orange Vander steps out of the Hut in episode 6 uses the same tune that played when he walked out his cell onto the catwalk with the shackles as brass knuckles to fight Deckart and Silco in S1E3. Also the song „Our love“ that plays in the scene with their mom and Bozo 1 & 2 was the one Vander had playing for Powder in S1E2 shortly before he realizes Vi is about to turn herself in at the end of the episode. Also also they played an alternative instrumental version of the Worlds song Rise when Isha and Powder are having the Bug Brawl in episode 4 I got like 20 more in the chamber
..yeah dude... This episode has been an outro-killer for reaction channels. This is right up there with S1 Ep3 where people just straight turned the camera off and the video ends. I was beside myself for a whole week after this one, and the fact that it this whole act was also incredibly good made it impossible to distract myself with anything else because the bar is so high after that. Looking at the clock now, I got exactly 6 hours to go until I stay up all night watching the 3rd act.
The four girls represent the things Ambessa was saying to Cait during their combat scene!! Caitlyn: Vision Vi: Force Jinx: Guile Isha: Sacrifice Vander is the ultimate creature for combat: Tunnels in your eyes, lava in your veins and shadows in your heart. So beautiful and destroying-ly poetic. 💔❤🔥😭
The goat fellow Ambessa rudely sacrificed was in episode 4 of season 1! I saw him in the very beginning hanging around Cassandra in the scene we're introduced to adult Cait!

Genuine question, how did you not notice that Caitlyn was distrustful of Ambessa from epsiode 4? She was clearly rehretting everything and was openly antagonistic to Ambessa. And Caitlyn herself - with everything we know about her and Vi, why would she ever turn her in to Ambessa? Caitlyn repeatedly states she disagrees with what Ambessa is doing, wanted to arrest singed - and she knows she is a puppet. Even in the maddie scene, not only does she show zero affection to maddie (seriously go watch it again - she avoids all intimacy) she openly states her misgivings. If you have time, I really recommend going back and watching all the caitlyn scenes with fresh eyes. Its really obvious- pay attention to her body language, especially her eyes - its all there. Its just subtle, and a masterpiece of animation from Fortiche. Caitlyn was never going to end up on Ambessa side - meeting Vi again was just the final piece. Watch how she reacts when she sees her again - her eyes are huge and round, a real trait of caitlyn when she is emotional. She doesnt say it, but she expresses it physically.
you're probably right, I'll definitely have to rewatch. I think maybe I lost all faith in Caitlyn and underestimated her ability to see through Ambessa. but a rewatch is definitely needed!
