    I need help with learning how to score higher on test. I do a lot of studying and can't understand why I am not scoring higher. When reading what are the key points? Could you do a video on finding the key points?

    The study time video is one of the most concise and beneficial tips for tackling the correct way to study mass amounts of information that I have ever seen. Thank you so much for taking the time to make it!

      Seriously! Anything below an 80% is an F in my program so "guaranteed B" doesn't leave much wiggle room

    Nursing Students out there, I am a huge fan of step #2 note cards. After months of searching, I found StudyBlue You make your note cards online, add pictures, add sounds and best off all you can access them anytime on your phone, ipad, ipod, or pc. It's amazing you can quiz yourself, make a matching game, even share with your study group.

    Hey you are awesome!
    I'm starting nursing school for RN in a month. I have heard from many RN that the key to nursing school is not to do all the readings, rather only to study the sections in the chapters which the professor talks about in class?
    Please clarify me on this study method! Thanks

    Michael thank you for your informative videos. I enjoy your ability to relate the information to us in a method we can relate to. Keep up the good work. One other thing that helps me is creating acronyms to help me remember. ie, the heart valves: To, Protect, My, Arse. taking the first letter of each word: tricuspid, pulmonary, mitral, aortic as an example. Again, High Five!

      Michael Linares Thank you so much for getting back to me. :) I have finished all of the Ultimate Study Formula Videos and feel well prepared for when I start nursing school in April. I think I missed though when to watch the other medical videos. Do you recommend watching them before a lecture or just before doing the highlighting?

      Katelin Gates Michael Linares This is question I posted above is the only question I have left for the studying plan. I scanned through all of the study videos and did not find the answer. I am wondering when you recommend we watch the medical type videos. You said to watch that first. do you mean before lectures or before doing the highlighting? Thank you for your help :)

    • @yvonnenguyen7137
      @yvonnenguyen7137 7 лет назад

      Jeffrey Hofheins when he says B's it's because that's the minimum anyone wants to get. No one wants a C. People settle for B's when they did not/cannot get an A.

    • @FromQnz2King
      @FromQnz2King 10 лет назад +1

      I agree with you 100% but unfortunately in our society we're judged mainly on grade letters which is really a reflection of test taking ability not so much on being a "good" nurse. Also its important for people who want to continue and become NPs or anesthetists. I am in a 2nd degree BSN accelerated program now we recieve tests with grammar and spelling mistakes which is ridiculous and unprofessional 1/3 of the class failed the first Adult health exam, then I had a pharm test the next day, and a law and ethics tests that same day as well as concepts maps and assignments due in between =/.

    • @yvonnenguyen7137
      @yvonnenguyen7137 7 лет назад

      Everyone wants an A. He's just trying to say B as the minimum. He's obviously not trying to make a program so u only get B's. That makes no sense.

    a lot of hype, a lot of repetition, but not a lot of information, typical of nursing professors...
