what a beautiful location and so much potential too. I'd be there shooting for hours. I can't wait for part 2 to see what did you do with the bridge photos and whatever else you shot.

Well done Nigel. You managed some great images without the polariser that was in your bag lol.

Cheers Glen .... missed the best of the conditions and was difficult not simply focused on the obvious .. but then again, as you know, my favourite time with the camera is looking for the more intimate ...

Great vlog Nigel, I always enjoy your considered approach. Out of interest did the bridge shot not warrant inclusion?

Hi Nigel have you tried the voice memo feature on the xt2. You hold in the cmd dal after taking a shot. Practically tag the last shot with a note for example this is last of say 5 frames on stack. You can access the memo in lightroom. Few videos on here explain it properly.

Take a shot of your hand before and after the focus stack shots. Or panos. It helps me identify the right ones.

Yes indeed .. another very well tried and tested way that works .....

Love your videos Nigel, I find them a huge help in my own photography. Your relaxed style and eye for the intimate, less obvious composition is really inspiring. Out of interest what L Bracket do you use on the XT2?, ive just made the plunge on a Fujifilm XT2 myself, partially based on your videos.

Thanks Allun ... the bracket I use (and in fact the company I've used for all my Fuji Kit) is the a third party one ... I can't remember the name (does not have it printed on) but it came from eBay and very very impressed, especially the price compared to, for example, the Really Right Stuff one .... Again thanks for your kind words ... glad my ramblings help in your own journey ...

What about ya now, Nige. Nice images fella, they’d of been even nicer if you’d of used a polarising filter...Oh come on...someone had to say it! ☘️ 🙄
