I rather take monstrous crow, runebear, revenant and t-rex dog at the same time than fight even one shrimp. They've got too much armor, too much quick attacks, too much poise and other than the satisfaction that you get when you see them die, you won't get proper amount of runes when you kill them: only 500-2374 runes. At least when you kill an annoyingly lethal enemies, you know you'll get loads of runes out of that effort, but shrimps are just difficult without any reward whatsoever.

I'm like 90% sure that some boss attacks have some weird quirks where they get either % damage or guaranteed OHKs with some attacks. I fought Placidusax and had 1800 out of 2000 health when I went the 2nd phase and he disappeared. I couldnt find him in time when he reappeared and he flew down and hit me with his lightning claws from behind and it did 1800 damage in one shot. When I came back and fought him again and got hit by that attack from the front it did around 300 damage. So either getting hit from behind did max damage x6 ot there was some other weird damage calculation there.
That's not damage scaling (I'm assuming by that you mean the lower the PC's level the less damage an enemy does), it's the other many factors that go into damage calculations. If someone's Defense and Absorption are higher than your's, they'll take less damage than you. Stuff like counter-attacks should be factored in as well, if you're attacking you'll take more damage (especially against thrust attacks). If someone's RL50 with high Defense and Absorption, they can survive hits that an RL100 player wearing light armor and using a Soreseal can't, for example.
i find it funny people still struggle with tree sentinal its fair on new players struggling but others just use the guard counters thats all you need if you want a easy fight on them things lol most bosses can't deal with my tank build

That's what this game is: a sport. That's why people have mixed feelings about it, it's not really a video game its a sweaty death match and the game is kinda glutchy. I feel like as a society we should have better games to put this level of effort into. Sad

Actually they can't parry greatswords as it is a heavy weapon, so that's why.

Just from what I've researched it seems that two handed weapons can't be parried in elden ring. Never seen it happen yet to be honest.
