that last clip is pure comedy to me. you enter the big beautiful world for the first time, there's a massive enemy sitting idle in the distance, you shoot a magic turd as an experiment, the boss bar pops up on screen, it charges you with sheer speed and power, you squirm and helplessly counter with another water gun attack, it axes you into the air.

I'm not that sure it's input reading, the godskin asswipes just like to throw shit at you when you're far away. And what do you do before you heal? You back up.

There's no reason an enemy should be able do long range attacks through solid environmental objects and there's rly no excuse for it. Dark Souls 1 is more than 10 years old.

Also those heinous input lags, input queues and button registry problems appears to worsening even further for ever new NG+ run. Ng+3 is so horrible, the controls is so delayed for no reason.

Input reading in a video game is a completely different thing than someone responding to something that is happening in a fight. A computer program reads the exact moment you press a button so the AI reaction happens before a reaction should be able to occur. If it read the input but delayed the reaction so you had barely enough time to finish it and quickly dodge, then it would both make sense and be fair, but it doesnt, which makes it a computer program fighting you instead of an enemy in a fantasy world, which is gamey and immersion breaking.

I couldn't stun lock him with full charge attack. I had to stop 2handing, equip shield and poke him to death with R1
normal foe hit you take more damage then the hit we deal on normal foe.
