This Game Looks Stupid, But Is INCREDIBLE! - Circadian Dice

- Опубликовано: 18 июл 2022
- Circadian Dice Part 1 - a dicey deckbuilder where you don't roll for value, but for actions. Attack the enemy, heal, block, gain resources, the options go on and on! It is an incredibly deep game with a lot to discover, and we have only scratched the surface.

There's a lot to discover in this game, and I've barely scratched the surface! Hope you all don't write this game off before getting to know it.
Nice
Play mindustry
I’m glad you are playing this game. Fingers crossed for more!
Whats your obsession with playing games about dice xD
Play changed
Next gen graphics aren't everything, this looks like a really solid game!
If anything, next gen graphics are almost like a bane if you look at 3A games. A beautiful canvas filled with content that is utterly shallow and empty
@@swordzanderson5352 indeed, all flash and style, but no substance. This game has substance all the way down.
@@rustyknight1572 good thing we have stuff like this time and time again that aren't big but worth the attention, and then every once in a while, a bomb like Hollow Knight, Dead Cells and Hades hits. If you haven't tried CrossCode, I'd highly suggest that, too.
@Swordz Anderson ayyy, CrossCode is an amazing game, agreed. Very much a hidden gem
@@swordzanderson5352 Yeah, only a few games with amazing graphics have true substance and love put into the game
Hey, the game has some animations now, that's cool. I get that most people find the art style lacking but I played this probably a year ago and everything was just static images, so I would say they've really improved. Also, the depth in this game in crazy but it's not until the 6th or 7th campaign that you run into some real challenge, aside from getting screwed by RNG occasionally.
Honestly "bad graphics" is something I almost look for in games. Not only for the aesthetic, but it usually means the developer can churn out content like nobodies business. Stuff like Vampire Survivors still has an active playerbase because the developer can throw in a new weapon every few weeks to keep stuff interesting.
About time! Welcome to the secret GOAT game.
I am very interested in where this game can go in the future. I hope it performs well enough to offer more videos
This is like a game called Slice and Dice that focuses on a party of 5 that can get upgraded to different tiers that all have their own unique dice that have different combinations of synergies for a build. That being said, the similarities end at unique dice and characters.
Also, Slice and Dice is on mobile too if anyone is interested.
Game's still being actively developed as well which is good. Updates are slow, but I'm looking forward to the update they've been working on.
@@ryst8226 that's actually how I know about it. If I sing high praise for a mobile game, it's because I've been around the block in some crappy ones finding a good one.
Check out dice forge too
Only problem I have with Slice and Dice is that there aren't that many characters and higher tier characters can be worse than what you already got.
Definitely wanna see more and gratz on the 500k 🎉🎉
This looks like a really cool game to watch, I'm hoping this becomes a new series on the channel
Love this game, played a lot of it a while back, it's fantastic, a lot of builds work and you can manipulate the rng in so many ways that it becomes hardly random and more of a calculated risk, would love to see more.
Thought this was a GMTK Game Jam 2022 submission at first, because I've never seen it and the theme was "roll of the dice", but then you mentioned that you played it "a while back".
Bit of a relief, since I felt like my team's game paled in comparison. Then again, it's the first game we've published together, so ofc it isn't perfect. Still.
I think this is going to be Tyler's new flagship game. This seems to have a massive amount of content.
Agreed
I'm down if it is ngl
@@grimzzzy6800 Amen. This game is massive, and although the art might turn some people off, I have a soft spot for that style. Plus, the gameplay is simple, yet surprisingly deep when you think about it. Perfect game for Tyler.
I'd hope it's true, but seeimg as Tyler often drops series when they're not popular... I am not very hopeful
I really like this game... I don't know what ur talking about with graphics I think it looks good. I hope u continue playing
I guess all these whiny people didn't play games from the 1980s to early 2000s. Aka games with pixelated graphics, but a lot of love/attention to detail and nice gameplay.
I genuinely love your videos, your style of videos makes me so happy and you help with my anxiety a lot, literally one of my favourite content creators. Congrats on 500k, Can’t wait for 1 Million
agreed
Thanks jimmy
This along with Peglin are my favorite games you've played since inscription.
Agreed
This is straight up one of the best games of the year.
I've played a little mobile game where you roll a 6-sided die with each side corresponding to an action, and my only complaint with it has been a lack of depth since the die and encounters never change; This game looks like it addresses that, might have to give this a game go myself
I am so glad you are playing this game! It has been my obsession since it came out and not enough people are playing it. Hard mode and campaign mode bring a lot to this game once you beat the normal mode scenarios!
I have been wishing you'd play this. It's a lovely combination of roguelike and crunchy puzzley gameplay!
If you're looking for another dice-based dungeon-exploring game, i'd recommend "Die in this Dungeon". It's free on itch, and is a dice-rolling deck-builder roguelike that has you using dice to fight your way through a tower of enemies to find what's at the top. I personally found the game difficult (though i'm also not the best at deckbuilders), so if you're looking for a challenge, i think it's right up your alley.
Not sure if this was chosen based off of my recommendation on your last dicey dungeon video but I am super stoked for this series! This game continues to get more and more complex every hour in. Hope you enjoy!
Nice. Looks fun. Thought it may have been a bit too much at first but I think you explained everything very well
I remember playing this when it was in early access and the graphics have improved a ton with the full release. This game is a hidden gem and a ton of fun. Can't wait to see more!
Congrats on 500k! Game looks interesting, excited for your next video!
Been playing this one alot. Very deep game. As you progress through the levels more and more mechanics unlock.
This game looks like so much fun! I might check it out! Hope you keep playing it!
I would love to see more of this game! Thanks for sharing it!
This is an incredible game, and I’m so excited to see you play it!
Got to say, I always enjoy your videos, are nice to chill and watch.
i loved this game since it was in very early stages and never thought it looked stupid, glad you gave it a chance!
The UI is a little wonky, but the gameplay is surprisingly great! Looking forward to more of this one for sure
DIMENSION THE DICE! Dungeon Dice Monsters is honestly the first thing that came to mind when I saw this
Yoo forgot about this game would have thought you had already played. Super keen on more videos from it
This is really good 👍🏾 excited for the next one!
Can't wait to see more. To the point where I'm actually engaging with the video in hopes of seeing more
This immediately reminds me of Dungeon Dice Monsters, with many notable differences. Excited to see how they expand on this formula!
I hope you play more of this in the future!
I watched NL play this and wished he played it more, excited for this series!
That looks like a pretty good game, I wouldn't mind seeing more of it
Ooooooh I like the look of this, please do more of this Tyler!
This game seems like it will be very entertaining.
Would love to see more.
For someone who can't sleep at night I thank you for your uploads I would not mind if you pump out this game. It was very interesting, love the videos!
Gladly watch more of this.
The Game looks really good i think you should make this a series on the channel I really enjoyed it.
Seeing that you do recommended games, my fingers are crossed for you to do Crying Suns. I love the story of it.
This looks neat, I’d love to see more
I would love to see more of this game!
I love your style, so I'm down to watch a new game!
Hey Tyler!, There's one game I've played a little back then called Desktop Dungeons. I think it's a pretty tricky game (the free version, I dont know too much about the newer one), Especially since you have to complete different dungeons with different characters to unlock more, which can be a challenge since some characters are just arguably better than others in certain places. I never seem to be able to complete some maps and was wondering if you'd ever check that out, Whether you play the free or the newer one, it'd still be fun to see! Loved this video too, I'd be happy to watch more of this, it has lots of potential!
The base concept behind all the strategy that goes to customisation, i.e. the fact that one is rolling for their actions, reminds me of the boardgame King of Tokyo. Fun times!
Hay congratulations on 500K
Look how far you have come
Such a cool game! I can't wait to see more!
You know I saw this game in my recommendations and I was thinking about watching it but it seemed like a game you would eventually play turns out it is.
Congrats ok 500k Tyler.Good luck reaching 1 million
Big fan of this game, hope to see more!
I picked this game up recently and it's been enjoyable. Just finished everything on hard difficulty with the Cleric (except Campaign Mode). Different characters do play quite differently.
Tyler! You hit 500k subs, congrats!!!
Also reminds me a little bit of One Deck Dungeon, which is a board game with a pretty accurate PC version on Steam. Would also recommend.
This looks like a promising game, I look forward to any future videos with it!
Hey man, congrats on 500k :)
Hey Tyler, have you heard of The Signal State? It's a zactronics-esque puzzler that would probably be right up your alley
all those unlock notes you skipped are very important to read as the dice get more and more complicated as the game goes. take the time to read so you can plan for your dice is the best advice for this game
This looks friggin awesome!
Not as much content, but there's a neat game called "Slice and Dice" which is quite similar to this that you might like to take a look at some time.
If you like this game, there's a board game very similar to this called 'Diceforge'! One of my favorite board games to play.
Ohh this game looks really funny and interessting :D
Hopefully we will get more content of this ^^
congrats on 500K Tyler!
looks very fun and is easy to watch
This game also somewhat resembles a boardgame I have called Dice Forge where you also earn money to buy upgraded faces for your 2 dice.
I actually liked this, it’s pretty interesting!
Reminds me a bit of an old dice game called Dragon Dice.
Just letting you know that there are more then 5 waves, you only need to streak 5 times so you can pick a benefit if it's good
Very interesting game I would love to see more
Congrats at 500k👏👏
The game looks really cool and entertaining!
I feel like you might enjoy the game “Bounty Of One”
Thanks for making my days a little hit better with ur vids 😁
Was very fun to watch
Similar mechanic to dice forge but in a different setting, cool!
I’d love to see another video on this
Ah yes, my nightly video to fall asleep too and actually watch tomorrow 👍🏼
Hey congratulations on 500k subs
This was pretty enjoyable!
you gotta 100% this game this is fantastic!
quite enjoyable videos can be from this game
I spy with my little eye, a new playlist for the playlist :D
I found this game a few days ago and it's been fantastic. Very fun, lots of content for $5, and there's even a demo. Highly recommend it.
I think you should check out Linelight, looks pretty and seems like a chill game. I feel like it would fit this channel perfectly.
I live the video and am looking forward to see more videos on it!!!!
if u like this u should try "slash & dice" or "poker quest"
the worse the game looks the more indepth the mechanics are, i'm in love with this game.
Looking forward to it
You should really recheck out Luck be a Landlord. Now that the steam workshop is up, it's like a whole new game!!!
“Oh hey, someone played out game!”
> “This game looks stupid”
“Oh.”
More of this pls!
love this!
Game looks sick I'd watch
Whoa, this game is awesome!
The game graphics aren't bad, they're really good looking
thanks, looks interesting, bought a copy
id love to see you play palallel- its a coop puzzle game that doesnt need that good of a pc but it does need a friend and if youre like me its gonna be hard to find one
this reminds me of One Deck Dungeon, noice.
