I neckline isn't actually much lower, it’s just that the bust is raised up and flattened by the stays, so unless you made structured undergarments there was no way to attain the exact look anyway.
I'm pretty sure that homemade dress was a late 70's costume ... the white dress worn by Princess Leia in the original Star Wars. I am always amazed by how much fabric big puffy sleeves actually take! I just did a thrift flip of two sundresses made into one and to make it have large sleeves, I used an entire silk wrap skirt and an entire shirt! I couldn't believe how much fabric was hogged up by the big sleeves. Loving what you did! Super imaginative. Bridherton was so bad i cancelled my Netflix! Ha! Love your videos!
I love your assessment of the Bridgerton costumes too. I do love this thrift flip. A very pretty and very Bridgerton makeover. It really did need the beading.
Love the way you got the sleeve pattern. I've also bought patterns from the thrift store just to get a pattern piece. It sure beats trying to draft a pattern.
love your videos, can you do a tutorial on a house of cb inspired dress. I really want to know how to make a milkmade dress with puff sleaves and a slit xx
She: Starts with an old dress and turns it into a better, beautiful and awesome dress Me: Starts with an old dress and turns it into a handkerchief..lol😂😂❤❤
Hello! I just completed my 12th grade and I wanna go through fashion designing...and become someone like you...I just wanna ask whether you've done any courses in fashion designing...how did u settle doing dresses and stuff ...do u have any degree on this?
Hey Basa! Congrats on finishing grade 12! I didnt study fashion design, I graduated from law school last year :) I'm self taught when it comes to sewing. Fashion design sounds like a fun and exciting course, let me know how it goes 😁❤
Hey! So this year is my senior virtual prom and I was wondering if you’d possibly be willing to sell a custom made Selkie inspired dress to me? It would mean the world to me because it’s been such a hard year for me as a senior high school student

the old dress looks more like a princess leia dress than a wedding one haha
Thought the same!
I think with no lining and unfinished seams it's more likely a homemade halloween costume
I thought this too

I watched that show in ONE DAY 😳
Yes the beads that you added elevate the look so much. It’s perfect I love the puffy sleeves 😱
