I've been looking for this one for ages! I'm glad I finally found it - I recently had a massive Drawn to Life nostalgia rush, and after beating it again, I needed to listen to the music all the time!
Saaaaaaame
Throw some money down the well.
Wapo!
@@novastar3990 “Oopa?”
“It’s enough to make a grown man cry” 😢
I remember coming into my brothers room crying because I couldn’t beat the scary ice dragon (what I called it when I was little) he showed me a cheat code for invincibility. One of my best memories with him...
WE BACK BABEEEEEEEEEEEEY
god fucking damn the nostalgia hits hard
Interesting that the villager Mike was more important to the plot than we could ever imagine... But that's the second game. Spoilers!
WHO WRITES THE SPOILER FIRST AND THE WRITES "SPOILER" YA DING A LING
LMAO XD
The random human rescued from the city and had no real role in the story at all ended up being the most important character in the game.
I still don't really understand why.
@@Her_Imperious_Condescension they didn’t want a generic game. And that they accomplished... that they did...
THANK YOUUUUUU FOR THE SONG 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Does this low-key give emotional anime intro/outro vibes to anyone else?
THAT BASS SOUND OH MY GOD ;W;
Pokemon town theme? Kinda?
Not really
@@psychopianist630 A little bit?
@@Liam-qj8ti Barely sounds like something you'd hear in Pokémon at all
@@psychopianist630 I'd disagree. Some parts of the song sound like they could be in a Pokemon game, not really the song as a whole
jesus I remember staying up at night playing this game on the DS Lite when I was like seven and I remember it took me forever to beat some of the bosses. Even after all these years, I still have this game with my old save file with it. I think ill start a second save to relive those memories :)
Nice decision.
I relate to this!
thats funny..I'm doing that right now lol. the games fun to replay, and I'm trying to beat death wood without the help of others (it's been taking me all day but I'm trying my best). I know your comment was from a long while ago, and you may never see my reply, but I hope you had fun playing the game again!
i played this but then my brother beat it for me
and i only played the sequel
Gah, the nostalgia hits me like a brick wall...
*Totally isn't ticked hardly anyone knows of this game*
I am so with you. It's such a magical game with one of the best motifs across almost all of the songs.
Architech As a kid I never got past that wintery water level with the whales...
Omg same for some reason I thought this would be everyone's childhood soundtrack I was surprised to find out it wasn't that popular
It was very popular where I lived.
Ye, it was awesome...
Too be honest, this game is an underrated gem. I remember finishing the sequel when I was younger and it made me so emotional. I wish some game would do that to me again.
@@videogamechannels360 NOOOOO
EasyBreadToast That’s not a “feel good” game though.
It was pretty comforting returning to the village of the Raposa with the hero despite some lingering dark clouds, gave a sense of security despite dark times.
Every time I hear the swish sounds (0:24) I picture it as someone doodling in a sketchbook, fits perfectly.
I really love how you have uploaded the whole sound track! I remember back in middle school, I attempted to do the same thing, but so much came up, and I never properly got around to doing it, but thanks to you I can listen to the whole OST. Thank you for uploading!
You're welcome :) I watched your videos back then ;) But I never found the complete soundtrack on youtube so I uploaded it myself.
Kinda crazy how kid me hated you for basically no reason lmao, you were a gigachad for trying to upload the OST of an obscure game series to RUclips, and you even drew cool art to go along with some of the tracks.
0:56 to 0:58 you can hear a melody from "The End."
I lost that game… and now I’m crying
I must really find one cartridge to play that game again
Same dude
HOLY SHIT I JUST REMEMBERED I BOUGHT IT ONLINE
Do you have a 3DS?
@@_.Dylan._ Yes I do
So many memories -cries-
YEAH! INJECT THAT NOSTALGIA DIRECTLY INTO MY VEIN
"I'm back, and I brought pages and more Raposa!"
All the nostalgia in the comments is making me depressed :(
They're making another one!
don't be sad because it's over, smile because it happened!
Drawn to Life is without a doubt my all-time favourite game. The story, the music, it all just came together so well. Then you. You were the hero. You drew it all.
You'll be excited to know that a new Drawn to Life game was just leaked!
@@kingtoons5648 Two Realms, yes, I'm oh so excited! 😁
Technically you just control the hero. *You* represent the creator
DRAWN TO LIFE 3 JUST ANNOUNCED
I JUST FOUND OUT AND WAS CRYINGGGGG ;W; I'M SO GOSH DANG HAPPY
God i miss this game...i miss my DS...i miss my childhood, this just fills me with nostalgia which makes me sad
15 years ago...I was just a child enjoying a little game called Drawn to Life, playing on my little DS in the living room with Cartoon Network playing on TV. Good times.
I just started playing this game yesterday and I already feel nostalgic for this song
Listening to this makes me wish that THQNORDIC released a Drawn to Life collection or HD Remake on Steam.
It's only HD until I draw my hero.
@@yowza9638 or a sequel
@@FieryRedmond boy, do i have news for you
@@Max_811 I heard about the Drawn to Life game for Nintendo Switch getting leaked.
Goddamnit, that's the most memorable track from the game since I didn't know where to go half the time.
I like sad village better tbh
Nostalgia
so Much Nostalgia
I wonder where my copy of this game went
This game is really underrated. i remember playing this as a kid but i didnt understand the story since english is not my main language. i only remember it was kinda dark with all the black clouds and the half shadow demon girl
One of the best video games of all time
I have been looking for this everywhere! :D Love this village music ^_^
Me too :) That's the reason why I uploaded the Soundtrack! Cause it is one of my favorite Soundtracks and because other Drawn to Life fans can find the tracks easier ;)
SirBaki It is so calming :)
God those record scratches bring back memories.
Gives off similar vibes to Treasure Town from Pokémon Mystery Dungeon.
The running steps sounds are weird...
1:40 best part
My fav parts are 0:00-4:55
where did the time go man. im in college now, i miss this so much.
I love you. I love all the soundtracks of Drawn to life
I actually can hear this theme when I hear one of the older intros to Space Hamster's videos.
It is a little melancholic with some of the instruments but at the same time filled with such hope. I love it
the sound of 2008, a happier time. I wish I could travel back to that timeline. ; ;
I feel Home ^^
I like the soundtrack
Years later and I'm still begging to know what banya pie tastes like
pov: currently doing homework for my bachelor of illustration, listening to the soundtrack to where it all began.
*tears up*
Decided to come back here after the latest announcement. Wasn’t ready for the feels and nostalgia this song brought back.
This is where it all started
If anyone ever asks how my RUclips channel started
It was this game
I can not understate how long this song has lived in my head.
Even to this day this song brings me comfort
pat pat pat pat pat pat pat pat pat pat pat pat
I tried to get ChatGPT to write a DtL fanfiction out of curiosity but it wrote something entirely different instead:
"Once upon a time in the world of Drawn to Life, there was a young hero named Robin. Robin was a skilled artist who lived in the peaceful village of Eden, where he and his fellow villagers created everything around them using the magical Pen and Ink. Robin was always curious about the world outside of Eden and longed for adventure.
One day, Robin stumbled upon an ancient scroll that revealed the location of a lost city called Aurora, a place where the Pen and Ink was said to flow freely, creating wonders beyond imagination. Without hesitation, Robin set out on a journey to find Aurora, accompanied by his faithful dog, Shadow.
As they journeyed through treacherous mountains and dangerous forests, Robin encountered many challenges, but he never gave up hope. He painted bridges over raging rivers, created platforms to climb steep cliffs, and defeated fierce monsters with his art. Finally, after weeks of travel, Robin and Shadow reached the entrance to Aurora.
As they entered the city, Robin was awestruck by the beauty of the Pen and Ink flowing everywhere. He met other artists who welcomed him and showed him the wonders of their city. However, Robin soon discovered that Aurora was not as perfect as it seemed. The city was ruled by a cruel dictator who controlled the Pen and Ink, using it to create armies of monsters to do his bidding.
Determined to free Aurora and its people, Robin joined forces with a group of rebels who sought to overthrow the dictator. Together, they painted weapons and shields to defend themselves against the monster armies and began a revolution to take back their city.
The battles were intense, and Robin had to use all his artistic skills to defeat the dictator's minions. But he and his allies never gave up, and after a long and grueling struggle, they emerged victorious. The dictator was defeated, and Aurora was free once again.
As the people of Aurora celebrated their newfound freedom, Robin knew it was time for him to return to Eden. He had fulfilled his quest and discovered the wonders of the world beyond his village. He said goodbye to his new friends and journeyed back home, eager to share his adventures with his fellow villagers.
And as he walked back into Eden, he knew that he had changed forever. He was no longer just a young artist, but a hero who had proven that anything was possible with the power of the Pen and Ink."
Not what I wanted (though I wasn't expecting it to know about DtL), but an okay (and kinda cool) template for a story.
I’ve never played Drawn to Life but I fell nostalgia from this song
Definitely check it out, it's really cheap online; you can get a copy of it for $10 on average. Worth every penny.
You must play it!
look it's one of the 3 motifs I was talking about!
Oh it's just the city theme slowed down.

this always gets in my head
everyone that knows this game is mad that not enough people know it.

Hhhhhh im going to cry
The sound of home
This song has been stuck in my head for a good 10 years now, it never really goes away as it pops back in my head time after time. One of my favorite games ever, of all time.
Oh.
DRAWN TO LIFE THREEEEEEE OH MY GOD I'M SO HAPPYYYYYY ;O;
