In addition to Light of My Life, you can hear bits of Real Life and The End. Every vocal track is sprinkled throughout both games. Alas. Sleep well, Fifth Cell.
This soundtrack has that Scribblenauts feel of creativity, this brings back so many wonderful memories with my DS I still have it, but it's broken, but I'll keep it anyway...
On an unrelated note, I remember that the first time I saw the movie Time Bandits, I somehow thought it was a Drawn to Life movie (I was just a kid at the time). Probably because of the fact that it turns out the whole thing was a dream the protagonist had.
I just realized... the four worlds could be a representation of growing up. Watersong: Childhood. Watersong is much more laid-back in nature than the worlds that succeed it; it's all about fun and singing, not to mention the levels are all quite easy. This could represent the fact that childhood is all fun and games. Lavasteam: Teenhood. Unlike Watersong, Lavasteam is all work and no play; this probably represents the fact that a lot of people get their first jobs as teenagers. Galactic Jungle: Adulthood. Galactic Jungle is bureaucratic hell and just about anything there counts as a crime; this could represent the pressure an adult who has just been released into the real world feels, what with all the forms they have to fill out and all the laws and standards they have to conform to. Wilfre's Wasteland: Death. Once you beat Wilfre, the world ends. Nuff said.
Interestingly, the progression is also pretty reminiscent of history, with Watersong feeling Victorian in nature, Lavasteam being heavily industrialized, and Galactic Jungle being hyper advanced space technology
I thought i was the only one who noticed this theme this game truly was anazing, i lost the first game, and this game alongside ffx remind me of my late grandma..but it makes me happy instead of sad.
I'm actually going to cry in a minute I love this game so much. Me and my sister used to play it together all the time but she's grown up now and doesn't have the time to play it with me anymore..

I like how you can hear parts of this tune in "Light of my Life".
I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE!!!
How did I NOT notice that?!?
I technically thought this was the instrumental of the song itself.😮
The lietmotifs are REAL.

00:25 - 00:37. Just epic. It sounds like angels were singing in the background.
I just noticed this is an alternate version of "Light of My Life"... and I've heard this song so many times!
I seriously thought I was the only one... This such a cool easter egg :)
First time playing through this game in a while:

*THIS EAR CANDY COMES OUT OF DS SPEAKERS*
-Oh.
The first part:
"My son let my voice fill the room one more time-"
😭💙
Rehearse this line by line, until I'm out of time-
My son, can't you see that our troubles have run high?
This is where we draw the line, this is where we say goodbye-
Such a beautiful song...
(loud, violent humming)
Profile picture checks out
I can’t believe Watersong’s leitmotif is found in Light of My Life-
This along with Bowser’s inside story were the DS swan songs
1:41 Just dang, something about that part of the song makes me love it all over again. So jazzy xD
Gilamex Is the best part
Ahhhh the memories :)
this is so relaxing
I love this game more than I should. 😇
i don't know if that's possible, this game should get more love than it's gotten.
All these drawn to life songs are stuck in my head, and I'm glad!

That's such a good idea. Although I'm so going to go and replay both drawn to life games now instead of looking after my island lol
True hero.
Always a treat coming back to this soundtrack

Perfectly balanced, as all things should be.
