- I THOUGHT these CLUBS would NEVER be RELEASED!!! - I never thought we would see these hollow bodies clubs in the UK but I managed to find them in store for £480 4-PW. How much do you play for your clubs?
Hi Chris, largely based on the reviews you and James have done, I purchased a set of Takomo 201 irons to replace my PXG 0211 XCor2's. I am quite enjoying the Takomo's. Hands down, the best bang for your buck. I would put them up against any forged cavity back irons. I appreciate you and James reviewing more affordable clubs. Keep up the good work!

I've been using Decathlon's Inesis 500 irons for the last 2 years and they're fantastic! They were only €420, which is about £350. There is a new forged version available now which I'll be getting later this year.
1am is often in the morning even in Norway 😂. I have just picked up a new set of Wilson D7 forged for less than the Kirklands and closer to my specifications. So there are some bargains out there.

Got the latest pxg 0211 clubs. Fantastic clubs and able to customise how I want. I don't need a custom fit for someone to try and sell me clubs based on their commission I want the options to be able to get what I want without a sales person custom fitting me.
I went for used clubs on the Callaway resale site. $450 for 6-PW.
One thing you do need Chris is a longer phone stick.... Very cheap on Temu

Chris- would you recommend going for a fitting to find out the lie angle and shaft type and buying the heads only like the Takomo 101’s?

Spend a little extra with fitted as that will provide you with confidence. Otherwise your trip will be ruined due to your anger at your inconsistency, especially if it's raining during the entire trip.

Kirkland's are toooo shiny. I'll stick to my 101Ts (better than my old Mizuno's)
Tempted by the kirkland irons, there is loads at my local costco, but theure stiff flex and i really dont think i would be able to use stiff flex.
Had to get a putter. They must have made him an offer he couldn't refuse 😂
Chris you have shown us that the average golfer doesn’t need to break the bank or upset the Mrs by spending a fortune on clubs, spend the savings on lessons
