As I mentioned on James's post I would like to see a head to head comparison between a set up head and shaft with all the bolt on stuff and then a club built to that spec, I would be surprised if they behave the same??
Really interesting, the detail that the fitting goes in to is remarkable. It make me realise I don't think I should use any thing higher than a 6 iron, I just do not get the height.
I went from the Cobra forged tec with kbs pgi stiff shafts to this year in the Cobra Cb’s with kbs tour lite steel. Will probably go back to graphite in my next irons if I can find the right fit
Went for a fitting at a local centre on the south coast. Was fitted for the TGi shaft in either the P790 or Mizuno JPX925 HM pro. Great, but the price of a set 5-PW made me choke on my breakfast 😂 particularly as golf clubs lose value quickly, more than most products like a cars or in particular, skis. 😮
I think this is the first time I seen Chris's shoes tied .....LOL If you can find a Titanium Driver shaft somewhere , thats is ONE strange feeling shaft as I had a titanium driver shaft in a Palmer Peerless Driver and mad it was hard to hit straight , you truly could NOT go after it , had to swing very smooth and you would get great results !! They didnt last long for a replacement shaft, I actually have a Ping eye 2 laminated wood driver with an Aldila HM-40 Gold Graphite shaft in it , I had the shaft put in it in the early 90's , still works good today . Graphites been around quite awhile and I have played many Yonex clubs that were ALL GRAPHITE many many years ago like late 90's early 2000's !
Chris if you want to hit a draw you need a neutral or positive attack angle. I think you were average minus 5.6 on your shots which is why you pull instead of draw.
Hi John, SGGT actually have an Edinburgh location and do loft and lie adjustments I’m not sure if that is too far of a drive. Or I have just had a Quick Look and club champions do it st this address in Glasgow G52 4NR. Hope that helps 👍🏻👍🏻
Good question, what they do is take the weight out of the head it self to get the weight the same with the adapter on and then swing weight it to give the real feel.
@@ChrisDennisGolfthey may get the weight right, but what about the difference between the shaft stuck into the adapter and the shaft stuck directly in the head, surely that will effect things, doesn't matter obviously on drivers and fairways that have bolt on anyway, but surely with the irons it would make a difference?
@@ChrisDennisGolf Would less weight in the head not then produce less ball speed as more mass hitting the ball, of course there is a tipping point but its the same principle as a hammer. The difference is probably small and more importantly consistent so it doesnt affect the fitting or overall result just the numbers maybe slightly different.
Another great fitting session they do go into great detail, so good to see.
Wow, that is a true fitting...
Well done Chris 👏 😊
Great video. Nice to see that side of the club fitting. Graphite shafts seem to be more popular.

I switched into MMT 85 this year in a Mizuno fitting. Love it. I had to request it. Glad I did! Fitter agreed it had the best results

Those iron heads look absolutely breathtaking with no branding, logos or anything else on them
talking balls. have you reviewed the Wilson duo optix yellow. nice and cheap and feel soft. perfect for winter

What are the details of the shaft fitting.
Thanks in advance
You and James need to go play with your new fitted sets and see what you score

Chris, nice to see you tied your shoes! LoL
Chris you are like me, bad eyes. I could never play on my own as i never see where the ball goes. I always prompt my mate to watch where this goes.
or get glasses.....
Hi cris can you tell me how much will it cost for a lie and loft fitting and is there somewhere in Glasgow Scotland that does that

How is that head attachment taken in to consideration. How much weight does that add to the shaft. 🤔
Good question, what they do is take the weight out of the head it self to get the weight the same with the adapter on and then swing weight it to give the real feel.
Makes sense. Thanks 👍

Im sure the millions in R and D and testing have accounted for this@@kenhewitt7357
