  • Closed-back headphones are elusive creatures. For me, it’s definitely more difficult to find a closed-back I enjoy compared to open backs especially in the under $200 price range. Enter the Sivga SV021. Do you like bass? Check. Do you like soundstage? Check? Detailed Mids? Check. Relaxed treble? Check. Honestly, they are pretty good.
    Certainly if you are looking for a warmer / darker closed back this one should be on your short list.
    Here’s an affiliate link to the Sivga and some other closed-backs mentioned:

    I own them I asboutly love them. They was tune to listen to music not to analyze it.

    Such a visually appealing video with the colors 👌🏽 and I love the comfort and looks of this Sivga… I am a sucker for wood-cupped headphones

    Great review. Despite the controversy from Crinacle's opinion, I find this headphone to be very enjoyable and fun. It's slowly becoming my favorite headphone in my collection. Comfort and sound are spot on imo (comfort is A tier, but if it had swivel I could call it S tier), but someone who cares about a flat midrange should not go for this because vocals sound a little nasal compared to other headphones but I find this to be a non issue in my case.
    This headphone sounds magical with music from Allan Taylor.
    For context, my collection right now:
    Headphones: Sivga SV021 Robin, Philips SHP9600, Hifiman HE400se, Sennheiser HD280 Pro 2020.
    All powered by an iFi Zen DAC.

    How do they compared with m1060c and x2hr??

    • @MrAyrit
      @MrAyrit  2 года назад +3

      I’d say they are closer to the m1060c open, but it’s been a while since I’ve had either of those. I definitely like it better than the X2HR. If I remember corrected the m1060c when closed was more controlled than the Sivga.

    Thanks for the review , great. I want a close back and this and the beyer 770 80 ohm are my options. I don't know...., the beyer cable makes me doubt, for long and atached. I have some dongles and i think is enough for drive the 770. Well, thanks again.

    • @MrAyrit
      @MrAyrit  2 года назад +2

      Both great choices. 770 is more neutral and probably a bit sharper than these in the treble as Beyers are known for.
