Alley Cat

"Alley Cat", also known as "Alleycat" and "The Alley Cat," is a popular instrumental song made most famous by the Danish pianist and composer Bent Fabric. Mr. Fabric (real name Bent Fabricius-Bjerre) wrote music for movies, television, theater and ballet, but was perhaps best known for “Alley Cat,” a piano tune that took the world by storm in 1962 and became an earworm for the ages.
Bent Fabric died last tuesday, July 28, 2020.

The piece was one my mother wanted me to learn when I was a boy and it was quite popular with my friends when I played it. The piece has remained a favorite for some unknown reason all these years. Enjoy!
