    This has become one of my favorite camping/ backpacking channels. Food and drink segments are great, being a beer and whiskey man myself! Not to mention Toby! great companion. Long may he live!

    Ryan, still making my way through the back catalogue of videos and, yet again, you never fail to surprise me. When I saw that ladder arriving at the camp, I couldn’t believe you had carried it all the way there. Glad drone was ok as you do such wonderful over views of the country side.       I have one and it seems to fit me well, but haven't walked far with it. Have you? I think any pack with serious pretentions, should at least have an adjustable back for a good fit?@@wildaboutwales

      @@lauriebloggs8391 I'll be honest, I've only started using it this winter for one night wild camps, so I'm still testing it. I doubt I'd use it for hiking as I tend to go lighter then and use a different pack, but I think I'd be happy with it going off how it feels on my back fully loaded.

      @@wildaboutwales Yeah, the Wild Atlantic way has some spectacular scenery, I've done sections of it in Clare and Donegal and it won't disappoint. I'm back in Pembs at the end of Feb to do a few days campervanning with my daughter, can't wait. Hope you don't mind me asking, but did you do a video a good few years ago about an overnighter on Pen y Fan with a Tesco value tin opener only to find your tins had a ring pull? If it was you, fair play, man, that cracked me up, comedy gold!

Yeah, i'm really looking foward to it, I miss home terribly sometimes, us Welsh don't seem to travel too well, we miss the rugby club, our mates and family, the shit weather and last but not least my Mam's welsh cakes. Yeah, if you get a chance, get over here and do some of the WAW, it's worth the time and effort to plan a few sections and there's the Guiness and as many distilleries as you can point a stick at! I'm a whiskey/whisky man myself!

Yes, I'm definitely going to do it, hopefully the full coastline in one go, in a campervan. Oh, I'll be in the distilleries for sure, I had 3 bottles of Teeling for Xmas and a bottle of Redbreast 12... beautiful!

    Another great video buddy. Bit of luck getting the drone back in one piece too FairPlay! Brewdog do a varied selection of beer and especially if you like your stout. More of an IPA myself but they do make a lovely drop. Look forward to your next video buddy keep up the good work!

    Hi man, I have the same drohne and exactly the same happened to me 2 weeks ago. Flying into a 20+ m high group of four, snow covered firs. Battery flew out. Had to let it overnight there. Couldn't see it at all. Desperate. Next morning we could shake it down. Nice video btw.

    Well, all wells that ends well bro. A decent local tarp camp - I do enjoy sleeping beneath a tarp. And with the bushbox going and some nice warm food we are set to enjoy the peace of the forest - accept you have a drone in distress. Cool rescue there.     How did u not mention the drone whilst you chatting to camera at night... that's so chilled - it must have been the beer & whisky..lol. As ever a very relaxing night but I have to say the thing with Toby would have spooked me right out . Love the filming Ryan, you really put some thought into it - even your walk ins... Toby must think with all the back n forth you are chasing a ball or summat. 😄 I think that is the 1st time I have heard you refer to your army days - somehow I was not surprised. Loved the demo on the knot tying too.. great stuff. Alan

      Yes, that and pine resin are great for starting fies 👌🏼

    hi ry i been watching your vids for a while noe abd love them . i got into wild camping going back last year and went out lots of times only locally which is not far from the beacons only 20 miles or so . unfortunatley i got diagnosed with stage 3 cancer back in march so my camping days are on hold for now , but when i,m better would love to meet up for camp with you my aim would be to do one on pen y fan give me a reply and we maybe sort something out cheers oh and keep the vids coming
