Regarding the FFB strength usage and the Nm itself, Stronger bases like 16/21 allow you to drive at higher FFB strength without loosing details or causing the FFB to clip....that's why you have bases with those power outputs
That price is honestly very tempting! Btw in Beamng, check your controls and see if you have only one steering axis binding while your wheel is plugged in. I know if I play with a controller and switch to my wheel, the game interprets the wheel steering AND the thumbstick control left over from my gamepad, and it makes that annoying shaking in the wheel you're experiencing because it's basically duplicated the steering inputs. I'm curious if that fixes your problem!
Unlikely. Beamng had a death wobble in all of the cars for years that only went away for me after the latest update. There are still a handful of older cars that still do the death wobble.
the higher FFB moza bases are really nice for circuit racing and stuff, I have an R9 but find myself turning down the feedback a bit when drifting so I don't rip my shoulders out of my sockets
I currently have an R5 and i enjoy it. I keep putting the R9 in my cart. But dont know if its worth it. I usually drift and rally. So seeing your comment is helpful both perspectively and financially lol
@@3.1415Ds yeah I absolutely adore the higher FFB during rally stages. No regrets whatsoever in that sense. And honestly slowly as I improved at drifting I increased the ffb on the more realistic handling cars (I only really do AC drifting). I still don't run it at 100% most of the time, but I think theres a sweet spot on most of the cars I drift around 7-8NM when im in the zone and really feeling how the car will move. But the value of r5 to r9 may not be so great, unless you're sure you can find a buyer at a good price for the r5
wow this is great. i was thinking of getting dd wheel but i wasn't sure due to moza's shipping prices.. but well assuming this one is cheaper too yeah may as well do that eventually. happy there is more options now for this type of stuff it's great.
moza has a small program included with their drivers now for forza compatibility, basically aggregates all your dispositives into one vjoy device I think (forza emuwheel)
Kinda regretting now for buying the T300RS (in a rush) and not waiting for the Moza R3. T300RS is a good wheel tho don't get me wrong, but for the same price range, you get a direct drive wheel, i'ts really great value for money.
@odahvi1216 yea they are just out of stock because of how fast they selled out I have been trying to find info when they will be in stock again some people said this month April I'm waiting as well to get it
I've been looking for wheels to get, so that might be a good option to get once I have the money though. Also I love your video's, very fun and entertaining
Moza is changing the game its awesome i love my R5 it slaughters my g29 and any belt dive out there i highly recommend the moza R5 and Fanatec csl dd but rmoza has better build quality and same same performance pretty much no plastic just metal and a WAY nicr quick release is nice period so glad i chose moza
i went with the fanatec tbh, the ecosystem of all the parts, the prices for wheels and accessories, fanatecs tuning menu and the native wheel support in games can't be overlooked. They're both at a great price and i can get the boost pack whenever too add that little bit more feel if i need to. In the end, the customer always wins with competition
@@andrewdeer6836 I think theyre both amazing and while im saving up for a DD (ultimately my first wheel) I cant help but be torn at which to get. On one hand Fanatec is doing great but its like theyre still in the 90's with their logistical and manufacturing issues. They have HUGE logistical and manufacturing issues to the point where I was going to end up going with moza. Fanatecs Issues: Bunch of boxes for one setup. Horrible if you're expecting to get all your stuff in time or if you live in a neighborhood that isn't great (where people will see a bunch of big boxes being deliver to your place. + too many stories of everything gets delivered except for the QR system that somehow got lost and is delayed 2 weeks to a month making the whole thing unplayable Which the QR....almost as egregious as Logitechs wheel prices. They are now phasing out QR1 but in the implementation of the QR2 they are charging a fairly premium price to roll out the Q2s. For example: If I wanted to buy the 5nm csl dd bundle on a budget as in, buy it lower the torque until I can afford proper rig and buy the cheapest QR and lower torque to like 2.2 to reduce shaft flex then I literally cannot do that because you dont have the option to get the free QR1 lites that came with the bundle. Today on 10/24 if you want to get a csl dd bundle you will HAVE to basically buy the QR2 system for an additional 110 at the least (or was it like 150 to get both pieces I forget). Which means that even though the cheapest csl dd bundle is being marketed for 400 without the boost kit it is actually 500 to get the most updated QR system. Of course you can buy the QR1 metal piece but....like why would you do that you might as well bite the bullet and go for the one that will overfall fix the biggest issues with this bundle which is the flex that can ultimately lead to the failure of the device. With that being said I'm still going fanatec. and Thats because of ALL of those IMMENSE issues going on with the lower end CSL DD bundles it still doesnt have the one major dealbreaking issue that moza has right now Mozas issues: Overheating of the motor.....lol mb kind of a long reply but I've been doing so much research on these products lately and felt like nerding out especially if people might be torn between the moza and fanatec
@Goosiest IMAGINE R21 AT YOUR DESK ON 100% FORCE FEEDBACK AND YOU CRASH IN THE AC SHUTOKU MAP. IF YOU HOLD THE R21 BEFORE CRASHING AND NOT GETTING YOUR HANDS OF THE WHEEL, UR GOING TO FLY RIGHT OUT OF YOUR WINDOW😂

While racing I've noticed i'll turn my FFB up, drifting i'll lower it a lot so I don't have to fight the wheel soo much. Makes it easier to correct my line. Using the 8nm CSL DD.
When o saw this video on my fyp I thought it was like 3 days ago or something but I watched a video on goosiest from 3 days ago and the video was amazing btw👌💯
Bro the CarX Lag is kind of random because CarX is such a Popular Game Its gotta have to fix the "Lag" issue. They Clearly have to step it up a notch because users/people cannot play with this much lag and its also so random like your in a tandem and lag happens than you crash to eachother it just ruins the tandem and also whn you said 'No Lag' then your game lagged its almost like the game heard you lol. Cool video!
So the reason to get a higher powered wheel is higher dynamic range. Meaning far more detail. A r9 will feel better than the r5 when set at 5nm because it has 4 extra nm and thus causes the r9 to have a higher dynamic range when detecting frequencies related to Force feedback than the r5. So im planning on a R12. SRP loadcell pedals, KS wheel and CSv2 wheel. With my curent thrustmaster TH8a shifter and handbrake. I will only ever use 3 to 6nm when drifting. But racing or rally i will be using 10 to 12nm. Those forces are a different game when racing and not drifting.
Unless I see their R5 bundle for a good price, I think I found my first steering wheel 😂 I’ll mainly use it for BeamNG and Dirt but man I can’t wait to finally have a setup for streaming.
I think i might be able to help setup your r9 for forza because mine works and i got the same steering wheel too. Kind of a bummer that direct drive support is horrible in games like the crew 2
@Goosiest btw i bought the moza R12 last week and I’m not even using half of the power what it has. I shouldn’t buy moza r12. I should bought the moza racing r3 or r5.
HEY GOOSE! i know you my not answer this, but, i got a g29 a while ago, absolutely hated it btw, worst mistake of my life trying to get into sim racing with a g29. So, say i have a 1,000 dollar total budget and want to get into sim drifting. What wheel, pedals, and shifter would you recommend? LMK if you can, thanks goose! EDIT: i have an ebay handbrake, but its meh, so maybe if there is some space in the budget you give me, throw a good handbrake in. EDIT 2, I plan on playing forza, WRC 10, beamg, and carx with the wheel. EDIT 3: I have a thinner table, so... if that effects anything lmfao.
On Fanatec's Direct Drive wheel there is a slider in the software called FFI Force Feedback Intensity. Drop that by 10% and 90% of what I don't like about BeamNG on a wheel goes away.

It's unbelievable that it's so small but it's more powerful than the Thrustmaster T300!

That wheel is the pure definition of a compact and perfect wheel❤
But not a good deal
Way too weak
@@RukaGoldhearthigh nm is pointless besides risking your wrists when you crash the car. you absolutely don't need more for steering even in drifting.
