if you still come here please i wish good thingsfor you. i don’t know you, but i care so much and i would love to be your friend ! imtoo have lived very lonely an isolated because can’t trust or believe anyone. i guess that’s my choice.ose to live this way but have wanted a good friend, but most people don’t care about others. they aren’t good people, selfish mean people! i’m still suffering from the last relationship i had for almost 20 years. he was extremely mentemotionally abusive! i listened to the things he said to me and started to beieve it! he would cuss and sceam and yell at me ! he would call me horrible names! i started to beleve him. it was horrible he almost hit me . i thoughtbif i fought back he would probably beat me up! i was scared , hurt and mentall and emotionly damaged. i finally got the courage to leave him. i’m better now but still having problems. he was so nice to me when i first met him. i dont want another man in my life! i just want a friend. some who will listen, just try to understand, someone who won’t turn on me, someone decent. i don’t care what they look lkie. i don’t care if they are a different race. some who helps me smile. i have never had anyone in my whole life like that.

I had a diabetic dog. Who had complications with it. DKA he survived. Had seizures - low blood sugar shakes. Pancreatitis. He lived till 17 god bless but I had to take really hands on care and had to be on guard constantly. It really affected my mental health - I managed and would do it 15 more years Bc I loved him sooooo much but it was a lot of mental pressure. It was scary - my heart goes out to anyone who has to deal with diabetes. It’s a really tricky and exhausting disease to have. May God’s bless you all ❤

@@CindySutter i am so sorry to hear that! that is wayyyyy too young and sudden. no one should have to lose a pet that way. my heart goes out to you too and thank you. they think my fog bad cushings too but they would test and he would be negative. but they said some times the tests don’t come up right! weird. i honestly won’t get another dog. even if my kids beg me when they are older. now. pets equate to horrible loss. sad to admit but the amount of happiness is great but all those memories are shattered when they leave. this happened in october and i am sad EVERY single day. it doesn’t get any better. 😢

i’ve had it since1994! i’m now 66 and it has gone mad on me. i’ve had serious conplications from it and one was from a diabetic med my dr. prescribed for me. he said it would help me with the high blood pressure i got with dibetes! i was on it for two weeks and was rushed to the hospital! i had ketoacidoses, one the worst complications of diabetes! i was in the hospital in a coma for five days thank God! i almost died! i fear every day that i will die. 😢 i try so hard to keep as well as i can but i’m older now and it has suddenly gotten worse. i take insulen and two oral meds every day and nothing helps ! its driving me crazy! i keep trying every thing i can think of. i follow all the instructions that my endo tells me to do, even the new diet whiich is extremely hard. i can’t have any kind of starches or sugars. i stopped eating anything with sugar years ago when i was diagnosed being diabetic only using sugar substitutes. i have lost a lot of weight finally down to my weight goal. for the most part i don’t get sick very often. i excercise at leastfour days a week. what the heck, now since i started that diet, i have gained 11 pounds in a little amount of time . i should have lost more! not fair at all! i’m losing my mind.

i know how you all feel. i’m finally on a new diet. my endo put me on it. i thought i was eating right, i had no info about the new guidelines for diabetes. i moved and got a new endo, he is much better than the wan i was seeing! at least he is helping me as much as he can! he told me that the reason my diabetes has gone mad on me is because i’m getting older. you should have seen me whn i was very sick. it was awful, i could not control my blood sugar no matter what i tried. and the high blood pressure that came with it was going crazy too! i’m finally feeling a lot better. but still having super highs and lows. i wish i hadn’t got gestational diabetes in 1982. maybe i wouldn’t have it now.

I was diagnosed diabetic in 2015 at age 24. Mine was steroid induced. I have asthma and had to take steroid injections to help with my lungs. During treatment I had symptoms of targeted thirst, urinating almost every 5-10 minutes. I’m now 31 and the last two and a half years have been turmoil. I’ve noticed I’m more anxious and worried about death. I’m married with two kids and trying not to cry about how if I die, my family will be left behind. :( I was in pre op in 2022. I was seeing an endocrinologist and he diagnosed with a metabolic disorder. Well my insurance cancelled me before the surgery and now I feel hopeless. New insurance doesn’t cover any metabolic weight loss surgery
