One of the most informative videos I have seen concerning Ford ECU and cluster. This gives me enough initiative to attempt programming my own ECU. No guts, No glory! I'm in Norway otherwise I would have just turned it over to you. Cheers
@@s1382 Thanks for watching & for your kind words! Good luck with your programming, if all goes wrong you can always recover it again with Forscan- just remember you will need 2 keys to do any programming!
I had a similar job recent. But saw the option to adjust Km only for higher number than the cluster already have. If the number of the Km are below of what cluster already have couldn’t modify. What program did you used for this?
There are many mileage adjustment tools available to adjust these up or down by OBD, from memory on this job we read the processor & adjusted the miles by using a hex editor…
Hey are you able to share wiring schematic for this set up with ecu, cluster, fob programmer, etc? Looking to learn how to do this job myself with forscan
Good evening, I have a problem. after deleting the keys and programing , only one key is encoded and the second gives an error. It is not possible to program key 2 and the old panel is dead. After parsing the key turned out to be a dead chip. bought a key chip and also got error and cannot program second key. What else can be done? Thanks
If the 1st key programs ok but not the 2nd I would imagine that the 2nd transponder may be the wrong type? - what equipment are you using to program with?

hi can you help, I am at a loss. sent ecu off as it had multiple errors. I received it back and coded keys with forscan, the van (2010 diesel connect) turns over but does not start. The guy who did the ECU says the cluster needs syncing with ECU and PATS, can this be done on forscan because I can find anything on the procedure. @JC-ECUConnection hello, i have buied a ford c max mk2 recently and im getting the error codes u0155 and p0140 comunication faults the gauges go off with the mesage on the cluster child safety malfunction refision necesary. Sometimes yes and sometimes can pas 2 weeks wedouth the mesage, can it be the clister fault? Or the battery i have change the battery with a new one and now 5 days afo with a silver calcium because of the smart charging. If its the cluster can i send it from france to you? Thanks
Hi, thanks for watching!.. this may be a cluster fault, sadly I am not able to diagnose by symptoms alone - I would advise getting it checked over by a competent auto electrician / diagnostic expert - If you need the cluster repairing then yes we can help & dispatch to France, please visit our website for further info: ecuconnection.co.uk/product/ford-instrument-cluster-unknown-brand/

Hello, great video, that’s what I was looking for! I have a problem starting and I tried to erase the keys to reconfigure the immobilizer but I got an error message after 20% "code entered is not correct. Thank you kindly check and try again." Can you help me ?
Are you using Forscan? - if not that would be my first recommendation, if you need further help then you can send us your: Cluster, ECU & keys - we can then set it up on the bench & program it all together for you, I assume you have a Ford Focus with ‘bladed’ keys (Not push button start). @@julienstievenart1376 This fault could be a few things, firstly double check all fuses, then perform wiring tests between the PCM & Cluster, if all checks out ok then it could be corrupt data in the PCM, if possible reflash the PCM with known good files from an identical part number PCM, if you don’t have the tools to do that then substitute the PCM with another from a donor vehicle (They should be pretty cheap on EBay etc) & then perform the synchronising again with Forscan..
Haha! Yes indeed repair work like that certainly does put a strain on a friendship! It was a shame I didn’t take photos of how bad it was before we cleaned up what we could!
