Really good takes from Machota. The Rooneys and Tomlin would be doing Jerry the favors of all favors if Tomlin were to be 'released' and subsequently convinced to come to D/FW. My money is on a last-second settling for the known commodity - Kellen Moore. Witten is an interesting thought but despite him being adored by Cowboys fans - it was as a tight end. Coaching a TAPPS team to a state title is admirable and a good first step on a coaching resume, but it seems like a reach. But then you look at the five year trajectory of Dan Campbell at Miami and the rest being history and anything seems possible.
Sanders' total coaching experience is 2 years at Jackson St., a nonentity, and 2 at. Colorado, just another above nonentity in the college world. Not all former good players make good NFL coaches. Cowboys would be nuts to give him a "learn the ropes" job. Also, his ego is huge, but Jones has the $$.
@@BlackNewtyI think he might struggle to coach when he can’t make sure the whole team is motivated about football in the way he is. I think Dion has the ability to be an amazing college coach, I just don’t know if it’ll translate to the nfl
not saying he is a canidate@@texasvet2729but reporter blew him off as a non talented coach, and spoke in generalitys the whole interview. He just repeated headlines and threw in his cowboy hate..What a joke that guy is
Great analysis from the shorts. Been waiting on this one

Are you saying he doesn’t know football?

@@BlackNewtyThen Jerry should coach the team. He knows football and no need for salary
