    This was SOOO freaking useful omg. It showed me:
    - I don't need to HIDE that I'm selling something, I can be honest and open. If things are gonna work out they will if not, I'm wasting my time.
    - I can sell on the value by giving a guarantee. money back
    - just by speaking to business owners you can learn so much
    I'm hooked on these "RAW" videos

      Also with this type of calling that you have to learn to manage your emotions, meaning you have to be able to deal with the rejection of not landing the client that you thought you were going to get and instead move onto the next person you need to call. Get used to losing and it'll toughen you up.

      Hi you probably wont even see this because the comment is from a while ago but if you do i need some help, firstly how do you get guarantees like a certain number of extra customers per month, is it just because you estimate these numbers from previous ad campaigns? secondly how do you personally create your ads? do you hire a contractor to make them for you? then after that do you just send those ads back to the client to list on their website or is there some other way? and lastly do you hire someone to make the ads before or after you sign a client? sorry for the paragraph of words but i am really curious about this topic and was hoping you could help thanks.

    • @twominuteopinion1914
      @twominuteopinion1914 Год назад

       @Patriota Tuga that's the risk, only promise what you feel you should be able to meet. Try marketing without running paid ads to complement it. If you don't know what you can meet than do smaller deals. So if you fail you can either improve marketing or promise less. If for some reasons you can only promise 2 clients a month and it's not worth it for business to spend $3k then there is no business to be had.

    Hey Tom - As a 24 year vet in sales that crushes souls on the phone... Here's a few nuggets for you. 1) Get your energy up on the phone. You sound half asleep. 2) Eliminate that cold calling line completely. That's a very awkward way to approach a call. 3) Instead - Introduce yourself and let them know who you are and that you came across their listing, provide a compliment about their business and then flip it and say however I noticed there was some flaws in your advertising and I have a great solution to help you. Do you have 15 minutes later today or tomorrow so I can provide some free information on a skype call? I cant disclose who I am... but I just gave you and your viewers the secret to success. Good luck to you my friend.

    As someone who has done a lot of cold calls with some excellent success, there is nothing better than the acclimation of just doing it. I do like your script, I think it resonates (obviously). I believe you could add a few more solidarity phrases in there to increase your perceived credibility and value to the owner. For instance, I would always say that "I know both of our time is valuable..." then break into your sales call qualifier. This establishes that you are aware of the time, that it is valuable, and you don't want to waste it - but not just one-sided to them, but also for you; establishing an even playing field and coming from a place of service than a sale. You may also want to consider adding some personal branding for social proof about who you are. Just nit-picky things for optimization or for you to try - fantastic work though!

I think that's such an important skill. - I used to work a couple years in outbound sales and you're doing great. I love how you start with transparency. I think the call might go even better when you use another word than 'I am cold-calling' because not all of those spa owners know what that is exactly right of the bet and throws them off. More something like: 'Hi, I'm totally transparent here. I would like to make an offer for you...' or something like that. Also I would ask them for their name and address them accordingly. But don't take my word for it and test like the entrepreneur you already are.
    I want to stress that you content really great and I hope that you receive more attention for it soon.

    I’ve been cold calling for 3 years and I got to say it’s nice to see someone actually uploading their material. The only reason your pitch works atm is because your offer is a no brainer. Your voice is incredibly monotone and you use so many uhms and ohs which discredits you. Your script is to the point but your speech is not. Try to work on that. Furthermore in long term relationship building try to create a connection and have them laugh or giggle at something. Have a genuine connection and be friendly but professional. ATM they only care about the offer and you only care about money. That is not solid ground for a long term relationship.

    Hi! Thanks for the video, it's really great!
    I'm no agency owner, but i wanted to throw some advice your way if you don't mind. One thing i learned at a voice acting/voiceover course that really helped me deal with clients and people in general (but this, in your case applies to cold calling) is cutting down the "uhms" and "ahs" when talking. Those can sometimes make you sound like you're not sure about what you're saying. Cutting those back really improves the overall pacing of your speech. I also always try to make sure i thank them for their time or at least wish them a good day before hanging up. It goes a long way when compared to just saying "ok, bye!"
    Thanks again for this video and what you're uploading to your channel!

    I really like your personal and genuine approach. What needs to be said here though, is that it has a LOT to do with the offer. If you are telling people that you guarantee something and literally make it an absolute no brainer for them, cold calling becomes like 20 times easier. I get cold emailed daily and cold called regularly. All of them have been very unique and "good" in their approach, but lacking this type of offer, I wasn't interested in any of them. Sure, it might be a good strategy in the very beginning when you don't care about potentially overworking and not getting paid, but I doubt this can be done profitably and at scale with "normal" offers. Good video nonetheless!

    • @kishibelunatik

    • @marco-cartlift
      @marco-cartlift 2 года назад +1

      @@kishibelunatik Of course, but the thing is that 95% of people won't be able to "guarantee" results. It's like those copywriting gurus that always use some magic weight loss pill as an example of how to do benefit-driven copy. Sure, if I promise to get thin in 7 days swallowing a pill, copywriting becomes easy. Try doing the same for a trashcan.
      Social Media Marketing as a service is not that easy-peasy thing that people make it look like. You can't just run a simply $5 per day FB Ad for a gym owner and charge $2k a month for an endless amount of new members. Even 5 years ago this was a bit harder than that, now you really have to be on top of your game. I'm not saying it's impossible or anything like that. But most beginners with an offer like that will probably just end up constantly refunding left and right, earning zero.

    I honestly love your approach. I make a lot of sales over the phone. Of course I have to meet in person a lot of times but when I do phone calling a lot of time they'll say I'll be honest with you. This is a cold call and it just establishes the honesty and most people don't just hang up on your face when you say that from my experience and they appreciate your honesty and let you go on just like your people. No one hung up on you. So I do like your approach a whole lot. Your energy. I like it because it makes sure that your affect meaning your emotion stays consistent and calm. And you're not writing highs and lows with the call. Keep your energy that way because you're just trying to bang out appointments. That is absolutely what you need to do. In another line of work you may want to raise your energy but your line of work that is the perfect effect just to even keep yourself from going insane lol. Excellent job!

    I think this is a good example of how to set a meeting when the requirements to set one are really low. All he needs is authority. In most other outreach positions where you are talking to emerging businesses or higher you have to have authority, a solid need for the product and a timeline.
    I do like how this video shows that cold calling can be a casual conversation and it isnt all wolf of wall street where you are trying smooth talk someone into going to a meeting. This is the first video I've seen of you Thomas but I would love to see some conversations where you overcome objections I think that would be super helpful for the audience rather then happy path convos.

I don't want to sound like that guy who says " Oh I know everything do what I do" But your tonality is your biggest tool, as for what I've seen here is your tonality is a bit nervous and it sounds young. Speak with confidence. One thing we always teach our reps is to stand up straight and smile while talking on the phone! Present with power! Some advice after having worked as a cold caller for 2 years: Speak as if you mean it! You are the representation of your appointment-setting team.
    It's more about how you say it rather than how you say it. Open the call with a smile on your face - the prospects can sense it.
    Continue if they don't understand something instead of repeating and trying to explain that it's a sales call.
    Listen to previous calls and try and eliminate any "umm" (this takes time)
    Lastly, you know your service is awesome, so speak with confidence.
