I LOVE Thrifting! Such a good video. I’m a minimalist too! I don’t think this was a bad idea to post it here. I think it’s something we love so why not. My clothes is almost all thrifted too. When I declutter i always go Thrifting to find things I’d like to replace a top with. Like! My sandals were worn out and I thrifted a new pair 😀 in my recent video you’d see that. I love this video!!! THANK YOU!

A kind of shoe lucky day with a second life for long-lasting shoes that were probably a bad buy for the first owner and the best buy for the second owner... It's unbelievable that you found such new, unworn second hand shoes. I like the Birkenstock / Papillio Namica mules with the wedge heel best. Have you worn this a lot in the meantime? Are they as comfortable as the flat Birkenstock? I also have the Birkenstock Boston Clogs for autumn, for me the perfect transitional barefoot shoes to be able to walk barefoot in Birkenstock even longer ... I have never found Birkenstock second hand in such an almost unworn condition My concerns would be clearly borne that they adapt to the wearer's foot and whether that can work twice? My personal highlight was a pair of wooden clogs, which are also extremely durable, apparently nobody wanted them, so they were sold extremely cheaply, even unworn and 1 tenth of the original price, which I still have today. After cork, wood is my second favorite material for shoes because it is natural and never cold to the feet. Natural material and the thing about not getting cold feet is important to me because I actually always wear shoes barefoot. Best regards 👣😎🤗

Right? It seems so crazy because I don't think they could have been worn even enough to see if they really fit! I know some people own hundreds of shoes and subsequently can't possible wear them all so maybe a situation like that? Definitely a happy day for me! I agree with you on the Birk footbeds, they are made to mold to your feet so maybe the brown clogs have already molded to the previous owner's feet. I'll see how it goes, they might at least let me know if I want to invest in a new pair for the future.
Wooden clogs are on my wish list! I have seen them in the past but never just the right size and fit for me. I do wonder if wood clogs will be too hard for my feet. I know so many people love them though, so I'd definitely like to try them at a thrift store price. Thanks for chatting and good luck in all your thrifting!

@@TheSimplicitySisters Thank you very much for the effort and your very detailed feedback, I feel honored :) Yes, you are absolutely right with the wooden clogs: you love them or you hate them. I know both in my circle of friends. At first it is quite an adjustment to have a rigid, immovable footbed under the sole of the foot. But once you get used to it, it is an incredibly good workout for your feet, because they have to work all the time so as not to lose the shoe. In any case, you should wear wooden clogs barefoot, otherwise there is a risk of slipping. I love them and I really like switching between the two very different types of shoes. Foot experts say yes, variety is important for the feet, this is the only way to keep them healthy. So I switch between barefoot, Birkenstock sandals and wooden clogs. Maybe you'll find a used pair of wooden clogs someday. They are even more durable than Birkenstock and actually indestructible. Best regards

@@tochnitm I love reading comments and love my chance to respond! I totally adore the look of wooden clogs. Especially since I love wearing dresses, they look so good with them. I definitely find I have to switch shoes a lot. My favorite brand is still Fitflop, they seem to be the most comfortable for my wide foot, even more so than birkenstocks. Oh and Oofos clogs but they are hideously ugly! I wear them around the house after a day of teaching and it's like getting a foot massage.
      Take care and thank you!
