my favourite Ford great era the bulletproof XR/XY Series seen some on Facebook buy and sell asking ridiculous prices when there almost gutted out keep up the good work what engine do you plan to put in your beast
Dude like Your work but watch how much fuller U use.U can heat shrink with wet rags and Oxy.and then hammer and dolly.
thanks mate! yeah I dont have an oxy setup yet sadly but honestly not alot of filler is going in, the doors for example I block down to metal. Jagged a good shell. Appreciate the input!
Nice work, I’ve been waiting to see some more of this XR, you really did score on that low rust shell. Where did you get that block sander with the vacuum attachment from?
thanks mate! I've been abit slow on it. The blocks are mirka brand and came with different fittings, theres a varieties few on ebay
@@LazsGarage you’re doing well, I took mine off the road 22 years ago for a simple engine swap, I put it on the rotisserie last year to restore it that’s where it still stirs.
22 years!! Definitely due for some attention haha hope you can get some time to get stuck back into it
