    Great how to, I especially liked the demonstration of various different forms of light, and the different places in the kitchen where you might hang lighting. OVER the cabinets or under cabinets near the floor are two areas I wasn't really thinking about - now I have some options. Thanks!

      I especially was delighted that i can plug it into a kitchen outlet as I have way too many unused ones.

    I like how in one of their other videos they show you diy steps for determining if a wall is structural but in this one they said get a professional to install hardwired lights.

      why would load bearing vs partition wall have anything to do with cabinet lighting?

    How many of you naturally have outlets provided INSIDE of your cabinets already?
    That's not a standard feature.

    When I am able to move out I want to buy a house save money and go all out to improve my house so m wondering is it better to apply all the appliances and counters before I tile the place or should I tile then apply the appliances and counters

    • @Revfar10
      @Revfar10 7 лет назад +2

      Charmander Mask it's a matter of preference. We tiled first, then installed. It's easier to tile when the room is completely empty.

      paint, flooring, counters, appliance install, and then tile. make sure you know sizes of appliances before laying out cabinet and counter design, there are standard dimensions but there are little variations. Make sure to get a cabinet depth fridge if the fridge will be in line with the cabinets. If you are going to have cabinet lighting, install outlets in wall cabinets.

    Please reply. Do these lights are battery powered or powered by ELECTRICITY?

    • @morarivera9580
      @morarivera9580 4 года назад +2

      It looks like some are battery powered with a battery charger. Others are electrical. Depends on the lights themselves. We gotta read the labels. I’m going to Lowe’s, Home Depot, Amazon to look it up. Hey, maybe even Harbor Freight.

      I used those battery powered lights that you just stick under the cabinet - press to turn on, press to turn off, and they were on sale for a buck a piece. Worked great.

    • @momof2momof2

      neither is mine. im just going with low profile strip lights and try to hide the wiring as best as I can.

    • @MrZeaos
      @MrZeaos 6 месяцев назад

      that's what I did. you can buy 1/2" wide x 1/4" deep x 8'-0" long extruded aluminum channel with diffusor. get some strip LEDs that are Cuttable, and make any length you want. drill holes behind the strip at the wire end and snake them straight up.
